  1. I have a 3/4 grey he's heavy set more.   4. There is nothing better than eating something you have prepared, grown or hunted you know that it is all natural. The rabbits that we catch have had a better life than most farmed animals and as being hunted their is the chance that it will leave to see another day.think of it this way the way most if not all of us hunt is ecologicaly friendly no use of pesticides and if not the price of veg would increase due to the amount of crop lose. When I catch a rabbit everything is used the fur is tanned and the bits I don't eat are either fed to the dogs or ferret the onlyy bit not used are the intest
  5. Try just taking her out with other dogs that bush she'll soon pick it up I have a young pup her just turned 7 month been out twice with my mates dogs who bush and he's picked it up. Been ferreting this morning now every bit of bramble he's in and marking holes. What realy brought mine on was taking hold of a netted rabbit he was that quick he beat the running dogs to it now theirs no stoping him
  6. I'm out with the dogs everyday exercising them for 2 hours then out twice a week working. I'll take a look thanks bud

  8. All 3 of mine I use for ferreting I use the terrier on a stable block I ferret if I used a running dog hed prob kill itself. I also use a collie grey and a whippet. The collie xs is the best to watch work as by watching him you have an idea of what's going on below ground

  13. Took the little lad out today for an hour. At first the dogs were just messing about til we hit a little wood then the first rabbit was bolted from cover by the terrier he's coming on leaps and bounds no covers to tight for him now and markings coming on a treat the dogs missed that on so carried on walking the terrier knocked another up but the runners missed it but the pup marked the warren.   22. I use a small round mouth bulldog which is light and just chuck over my shoulder
  23. Its my way of winding down after crap shifts at work its the joy of watching the dogs work I mainly bolt to the dogs. I think its the peace that I enjoy most plus its a family outing when we go out my other half and the little man watching his face light up when he hears the rumble then sees the flash of white as the bunny takes off with dogs hot on his tail
