Hot Meat replied to whitefeet4190's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
You're being very nice and non-adversarial..... Someone given you a frontal lobotomy..... Na lol gee the guy his due he usually talks sense and like I said I may not agree with the supplements I'm always up for learning of the older generation, I know I come across as perfect and truth be told I am as Damn close as you get but I still do learn things off folks -
Cheers chid

It will probs be a bit too big and powerful child, the hw25 and other junior uns are only 90 odd cms, but the meteor and others are over 100, I know it's not much but he won't be able to fit it in his shoulder, the juniors are only half power as well, if actually got 2 old springers in shed but the just a tad too big for him
-
I'm sure that will be too big I had one myself a few years ago, I just been pm`d about the crossman raven and the puma Mali, anybody any experience with them..?

After finding a gun shop that said they could get us a hw25 for my lad, after waiting a good while for the gun to arrive we contacted them to find out they don't have it and don't know when they will, they knew when to take money tho lol... anyways don't suppose anybody has a hw25 or other similar sized junior air rifle that they want to sell, or even just a recommendation on a model or shop to try, poor kid was promised this last year and we were let down time after time, dint want it happening again this year.. lad is 7, sportsman gun centre the shop that's just let us down have said themete

Anyone Give Their Dog Supplements ??
Hot Meat replied to whitefeet4190's topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
I think most folk gave decent answers, just many disagreed with using them? I honestly do hope I'm still at it at your age, if your ever down scotch corner way you more than welcome to see my dogs, just because I don't agree with your thoughts on supplements I'm sure you could teach us a few other things -

I feel for you mate,I honestly do. You got a problem I've had a couple times in the past, with different outcomes. I honestly ain't got a problem with you, your dog or you rehoming the dog. It's just I don't think that it's fair on dog to rehome it to a stranger, especially considering the prats on this site. You obviously feel for the dog or it would be easy to cull it. I was a bit strong and out of order with some a my posts but I do stand by my way of thinking, like I said I been there and done and got that t-shirt,more than once. All the best in getting your problem sorted -
Nice honest post for a change, all the very best with the pups

That's shocking that shit will get ferreting banned next jaf wants to give his head a flocking wobble and that black whippet needs taught manners. No excuse for mutts like that it would be sorted with a few little chats whilst out ffs

if gameness is only found in bulls then surely only physical differences would make a winner or loser but that is as we both know is not true so whatever it is all dogs don't posses it and if thats the case then it can not be restricted to a single breed but rather as you say a trait in particular individuals it takes more than gameness to make a good match dog, infact, some of the best dogs never had their gameness fully tested because they had so many other tools in the box they had the job finished before gameness was ever brought to play. you should always breed for gameness, but when choo

My dogs get all sorts mate, mostly raw meat with added veg, fish, birds and anything else I catch or get from butchers offal, carcasses, heads like I said earlier a healthy balanced diet
-
Do you honestly believe the food had anything to do with the height of pups lol yes i do,because out of the same dog and bitch the time before i feed them different dry food and they were all small Must have been pure poop you fed previous litter pal, I u understand a lack off goodness in a pups diet will hinder its growth, but to think gain made your pups bigger is madness, it's in the genes that the height is determined, trust me no kibble is as good as meat, dogs evolved to eat meat, try raising litter on meat next time and you'll end up way dogs a yard high at shoulder if your th
