    The folk that think all hares are easy are deluded or daft. They need to try it and see. I lamp bunnys but some permissions have hares so preban we lamped them they get shot now. Say what you want as I know what iv seen.. and one thing is for sure lamping hares gets your dogs fit haha

    Get the dog chasing and retreivin both squeeky toys an a fur dummy or dead bunny. Show her an older dog that knows the job catch. Failing that shoot it....n It was a joke.... or was it haha

    Its easy to test a dogs mark. Ether drop a fitch in or walk upto one a them burrows we all know where the bunnys will sit out until you aproach watch what hole they go down and then watch the dogs reactions at that hole. Nowt difficult about it really

    If your dog don't mark you are either not getting it out enough or you don't know how to read the dog imho

    Iv seen more than a few daytime hares run shit an get caught easy. Iv also seen more than a few run like the wind on the lamp an no dog was catching them.

    Iv seen 9 took all run doubled up on medium sized fields same dogs had over 30 bunnys between them that night. They were run singly. I heard lads down bottom of england doing 15s. I believe the guy and would like to see it done

    You can get a dcent dog if bred right. But with good training and a bitbof luck you could have a great dog. Put in ad much effort as you can and hope it pans out... haha

    One thing for sure. Right or wrong you debated that welll mate. I have also read the book and I wouldn't use it under a table leg now. It is easier to try and belittle or insult folks when you have nothing else to say.     We thought the mink was bad kn our area in last ten years the otters have hit us wit avengence and now no mink to be found. I know of three local guys that have gave up there livelyhood due to the otters now. One guy reared on stockys and two comercial day waters

    I don't knw about a jacker quitter mate but I had a black terrier a few years ago bred out a bitch that was far from the bestvin her litter just your average terrier failed to bottle up and find a few times but she was the only bitch in her litter ( there was five bitches altogether) t ever throw any pups that mate the grade they only ever turned out average aswell but they done us. The bitches sisters were far better at there jobs but gave us nothing in way of pups to dig to
