  7. i would say definately get the HMR , if i never had any rabbits to shoot i would sell the .22 and would only use the HMR. as for the S&B scope i personally would stick with the leupold having the extra magnification if you are planning on some long range shooting.

  15. personally if it was me i would use a little single barrel .410 shotgun.
  16. yes the 22-250 does the job. i was actually thinking of getting a 234 but this calibre works perfectly fine. as for pest control i actually told the farmer i was going out for rabbits but i took the 22-250 instead just incase and i am glad i did. on this estate the keeper must be the only keeper that doesnt shoot foxs untill they actually do damage. the farmer said i was to shoot foxs so i have
  17. went to some new permission for the first time on friday night and shot 6 foxes and 2 rabbits. i had only just parked the van , had a wee shine on the hill and spotted the first, got the rifle out clipped on the striker gave a squeel and it came running in , gave it a whistle and shot it, it was a nice vixen. gave another call and another 1 came in but was weaving through bracken so had to be patient for a shot.this 1 was a big dog fox. i could hear the 3rd calling away up the hill where the 2nd had came from so called and this also came in but went down a gully and i lost sight of it so shot
