  3. max is lookin good mate did you see the two pics of the barbed wire at the top of the dry stone dyke? that was at eye level to me but looks like it could be really nasty.

  13. i was told by a guy who trains labs and spaniels that he treats lurchers the same when training them.
  14. i am really glad you started this topic rolfe what i have been wondering for ages since this will be my first season working the dogs when the harvest comes do you treat the dogs with anything to make their skin tougher on there pads as not to damage them on the really sharp stubble. i am sure i read somewhere that if you start bathing the dogs feet in salt water a couple of weeks before the harvest this can toughen up the skin. and do you tape up the dogs stoppers as i have also heard of people doing this?

  16. me too, the yuasa battery i have states that the battery shouldnt be run totally flat before charging.

  18. i just use one of the deben chargers ditch, then i dont need to guestimate how long to charge any of my batteries as it has an led that goes out when it is fully charged,
