England Fans Have Started Playing Up At Euros
Blackbriar replied to dark-destroyer-85's topic in General Talk
Just a quick thought....... If French police are trying to stop English fans, who have convictions, from travelling over there, why can't we stop foreign criminals from coming here ? -
Why don't you read it, then dumb it down for the rest of us, BH ? Words of 2 syllables or less, for some !

I read it years ago, but understood very little of it.....just when I though I'd grasped one part, I'd half-forgotten the previous one !! Doesn't mean you're not thick though, Walshie !

"Although bestiality was often subsumed in terms such as sodomy or buggery, penetration was the essence - 'the defining act' - of the offence," the court said. Thus, the court ruled by a 71 majority that bestiality required penetration. That's really all you need to read,if you can't see the pattern yet you will within your life time, imo within the next 20-30 years unless there's a big change.I read the article it's a legal loophole they are trying to change. So judging by your comments you were the first to defend desertbred when people were saying it was a disgrace he wouldn't let his siste

Sir James Dyson has come out in favour of "Leave". He says the idea that we couldn't trade from outside the EU is "absolute cobblers"........ http://metro.co.uk/2016/06/11/sir-james-dyson-backs-brexit-just-weeks-before-referendum-5937568/ Am I being overly optimistic, or is there a wider feeling that "Leave" are in the ascendancy ?

Bless her and everything she represents !

We put up with Gordon Brown for long enough and I really can't think of anyone less suitable. Fair point. But if there's a narrow win for "Remain", surely that's Boris knackered ? But if it's a win for "Leave", he's the obvious candidate ? Tory civil war, I think !
-
I think it's accepted wisdom that Cameron is dead in the water , in the event of a referendum loss. But a narrow win probably won't help his position, either. He has long said that he will not contest a third election, so a win would let him stand down on a high (of sorts), avoid civil war inhis Party, and allow the new leader a good run-in. Who would be shoe-horned in ? Osborne has lost the momentum, after several policy U-turns, Theresa May hasn't exactly covered herself in glory during the referendum campaign, and after all his talk of "the sovereignty of the electorate", could Boris r

"Remain" have called on the backing of (among others) Merkel and Hollande, the President of the European Union, the governor of the Bank of England, heads of IMF, Central European Bank and OECD, dozens of business leaders and even the leader of the free world himself ! They surreptitiously spent £9 million of taxpayers money, published inflammatory adverts, threatened everything from financial ruin to the collapse of civilisation as we know it and unduly extended the deadline to register to vote..... .....and the best poll showing they can manage is neck-and-neck ! (I wonder if

I'm one of those who subscribes to the idea that today's youngsters are generally lazy, unmotivated ne'er-do-well's, who expect the world handed to them on a plate. Compare and contrast to my own youth..... Until I was 13, my mum gave me pocket money (50p a week !), provided I had helped around the house, to her satisfaction - washing up, hoovering, ironing and so on. When I reached 13, pocket money stopped (though household chores didn't) and I was ordered, ordered mind you, to earn my own money. I got a paper round at the newsagents, which was itself 20 minutes walk away, and had

I've done a battlefield tour of France and the Netherlands. I remember visiting this man's grave. http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2631313/The-runaway-boy-hero-D-day-At-14-lied-way-Army-At-just-16-parachuted-France-frantic-family-hot-tail.html I shudder to think of the reaction among today's youth should our nation face a similar threat now. If you look up "hero" in a dictionary, there should just a picture of that young man next it ! The best way to serve their courage and sacrifice is to make sure that they didn't die for nothing......
