  1. Hi Lee I have had a few of these recently, I have been told that it is Liver Fluke, This is a disease that is in the ground. Sheep and cows are treated for it. So the meat is safe to eat. I leave the rabbits that have it for foxes. Hope this helps? Kind regards Mark
  2. Nice shooting Ron, I used to shoot at a couples back garden. A couple of years ago i shot 50 rabbits in one year !! But now they have never made a come back, which is good news for them but not for me. Ha ha ATB Mark

  10. I used to have a T.D.R. It was a special from Venom, I sold it last year though. It had a folding stock and a removable barrel. It was ok but i didn't use it enough. ATB Commando
  11. Hi Jef. What were you in mate? You know waiting around in the forces is second nature, So waiting for the bunnies to pop there heads up will be easy. Just make yourself comfortable. And then, Watch and shoot, Watch anmd shoot. ATB Commando
  12. Hi Rabbit killer I had a problem when i first started using mine, but i have got used to it now. I bought the IR laser as well and that really helps. You just have to play around with focusing the eye piece(monocular), end piece of the monocular and then i play around with my 'ferris wheel' i have a SWAT 4-16X 56 Some times i walk around shooting rabbits, but mainly i either lie down or sit down, i use the versa-pod bipods. the bags are really big but patience is the name of the game. I have just finished nights but i can send you a more detailed explaination if you want?
  13. Hi I use the SUREFIRE 6P, it's lightweight, bright and the price of these are coming down now. The battery is small but will last for ages and carrying a spare takes up no room at all. There easy to come by on the auction sites. ALB commando

  16. Hi I have got a Versa-pod fitted on my rifle. I have had for years now with no problems. check out www.versapod.com I have got 2, one for in the prone posistion and one for sitting down. They are also available from evil bay safe shooting.
  17. Hi VP90's the name i couldn't think of before. You can get a packet for about £6.
  18. Hi mate, I bought one of these years ago. It's ok to check the recce of the area before you go lamping, because some times rabbits can be a bit jumpy and get used to the lamp and put 2+2 together and make trouble. However your best saving your money. I've now got a merlin Cobra Gen1 for shooting and you can't go far wrong with that. Safe shooting
  19. I enjoy shooting and i enjoy drinking as well. BUT not at the same time!! Think before you pull the trigger or get behind the computer. Safe shooting
  20. Hi I used this years ago in my gun cabinet, until i got told about my rifle stock drying out. I have now used a product from Napier for a couple of years with out any problems, sorry, the actually name escapes me at the moment.

  24. Hi Gilly I agree with Spike, Your best off skinning them straight away. I did it so quick once, i squeezed the heart and it started beating again! Well done though, good effort.
  25. Hi I used to use a Mag light years ago, but found them to heavy and the batteries soon died !! I now use a Surefire 6P The beam is really bright, it runs off 2 x camera batteries, which are expensive but the weight is nothing and they will last for ages and ages. I have it set up with a presel switch, the lead is short and doesn't get in the way. I haven't got any photos, but if anyone is interested then just let me know. Safe shooting. ATB Commando
