  1. I had a few like this last year, but touch wood, i haven't had any like that yet, this year. I wasn't sure to start with what it was so i took a rabbit to the butcher's and he told me all about Liver Fluke.
  2. Nice one, A little while back i caught 2 rats at my girlfriends shed. I caught one with both his hands under the wire, just like the old piano cover on your fingers!!
  3. Hi, I bought a Surefire 6P years ago, i still use it. You can get them really cheaply on the auction sites now along with mounts. What i like about it is the weight, It weighs nothing and runs off a single small camera type battery. Also the amount of light it puts out is enought for an air rifle. To get the specs go to www.surefire.com Good luck and safe shooting Commando
  4. I take mine to the butchers and get £1 a rabbit, i've also got a couple of friends that like them as well so i'm never stuck with rabbits to get rid off. I have also given them to a friend that works in an old peoples home, The old folk loved them!
  5. Hi Theobenmike, i bought the laser scope mount from geoffrey so the laser can be mounted on the scope and not like you have got it on the actually night sight. It works well there and i don't really know its there. Safe shooting Commando
  6. Hi, I remember from my survival training years ago that just eating rabbits is not good enough to survive. This is because there are not enough vitamins and minerals in them. How ever it's like everything else, with a normal well balanced meal you are ok. ALB Commando
  7. The scope i have on it is the AGS 4-16x56 and the ferris wheel on the side is the range finder.
  8. Hi, When your shooting are you following through? And i don't mean in your pants It could be that your pulling the shot off to quickly? When you shoot stay in the aim and watch the bunny be bowled over, Hopefully. safe shooting mate and good luck
  9. I was going to buy a stock in january, but all my hard earned cash had to go on my van and house. In the words of unlucky Alf "BU**ER I knew that was going to happen"
  10. It's a custom job. My friend and i got 1 each. Steve Pope did them. My friend made his different, although i haven't got any pictures of that. I also use a 6P surefire torch, which i have used before they came the fashion, due to weight or beam size.
  11. It is a Webley Axsor carbine .20 4-16x56 SWAT AGS scope Merlin Gen 1 night attachment
  12. You want to practice your field craft a bit more mate. As my mate used to say, IT'S NOT BIG AND IT'S NOT CLEVER
  13. I suppose they say what goes around comes around !! Once i was shooting near a river bank, A heron had just speared a ranbow trout (through his head) and was just about to eat it when my mate ran over, Arms waving and the heron flew off, leaving a trout for us to eat on an improvised B.B.Q. Which was nice
  14. I was out shooting the other night, after 20 mins i got one rabbit and was just waiting for the rest of his mates to come out when i heard loads of noise, like someone going through a hedge backwards !! Then a fox came over and took the rabbit i had just shot. As he took the bunny off another 2 foxes ran out from cover. i didn't see any point in waiting around. So i went to a different field and got 6 rabbits. All in my freezer now ALB Commando
  15. What have you got and how much? i know the price rockets when you get to Gen 2 and above.
  16. What is the best value for money night vision scopes? ie GEN 1, GEN 1+, GEN 2, I know the higher the generation the more money, but what about the 1+ etc? Thanks
  17. It's a good effort mate , the only thing being that it looks a bit shiny and that the bi-pod's still black , I have got a Webley Axsor carbine in .20 i can't find any photos at the moment but will put some on later.
