    Ive got a ferret finder 2 and a terrier finder 3 but no collars.the boxes light up when the battery is put in so i guess they are both working but havent got any collars to try them on.Any one fancy taking a chance on them ill swap for a 8ft mk 1 collar or anything else to do with hunting . ....archie

    mate I would willingly never poach again if I was given the chance of permission, but with people not willing to give me that chance I have no choice but to poach. I understand totally what you are saying about the accidental snareing and the bad light it would shine, but surely with you sharing your advice this can only help reduce the risk of accidents happening and help people like myself become more competent.     Just reading this post has made my blood boil. Unfortunateley my father wasnt a gamekeeper or land owner so i wasnt blessed with being brought up in any hunting or farming environment. I have knocked on that many doors to get rabbiting permssion and the answer is always the same 'NO'. I have wrote letters, wore shirt & tie, offered to do work in return and still I get the same answer 'NO'. With all the knock backs it still has'nt stopped me trying.     I understand where your coming from but if everone was like this then eventually our sport would be no more because no new comers would be welcome. I have been asked on numerous occasions to take people on my land with the birds (i fly a harris hawk).
