firstly i'd also take ray mears.......and a fat bird....a parang (big sharp knife) and satellite phone......... ray could do the cooking an hunting, the fat bird would keep me in the shade from the warm sun and if ray failed i'd slaughter the fat bird, live of her for about six months and then ring for help if i got fed up.

well, lads these bullets will not stabilize in a 1 in 10 twist or slower so you will be waisting your time and money, 1 in 9 or quicker i afraid to tell you...... they will shoot but they will tumble in flight, in a .243 with 1 in 10 twist.

i've just developed a 95grain sst load for deer and have got great accuracy from it, was wondering has anybody taken any shots at deer with this round, and if so any comments greatly apprecated, cheers....

HI sounder, well if your on a tight budget i'd go for the tikka t3, an fit the best scope you can afford, if your not on a budget an your feeling flash i'd splash out on the new sako85 in stainless/syn my friend has one an its excellent, i have a tikka m595 in stainless/syn and get great results with it from reds to sikka and fallow no problems at all as long as your sensible, the .243 will do the job, but for me it would have to be the sako 85 only i cant afford one at the minute, the tikka an sako barrels are made in the same factory, but the tikka t3 is made to a good retail price ona b
