FALLOUT BOY!! FROM UNDER THE CORK TREE> SONG: SUGAR WE'RE GOIN DOWN...

hi oly, The lee reloading gear is ok if your starting out to reload, you could cut your first teeth on it so to speak. the only thing i would advise you to do is get a single stage press. as there is a little bit of play with the turret press. the safety scales are ok but a little bit fiddley compared to rcbs or hornady. i would advise you to get a good set of dies, as they will last you a lifetime, redding i find excellent, easy to adjust. so in saying that everythine else is fairly good for the money. i cut my teeth on the lee reloading equipment and still use most of it till this very day..

WELL... my option to get ol charlie there would be to use a digital caller to get him out of the den, or put a call into the pentagon, and nuke the c**t

Well ly, i don't know were the hell my reply went so i'll write it again, hornady do a 95grain v-max in 6.5x55 loaded with 48.5g of n160 its trippin t around 3100fps drop is 6.5in at 300 and 19.5in at 400 with a 200yrd zero. but be warned, you'll be looking at bits of fox rather than a fox...!!! put a mod on or you'll be deaf... when shootin alot of foxes. as it's a hell of a bang

WELL Oly, baldie is right with the 100grain, in a one in ten twist, but with a little reloading you can get good results with them, but for a shit hot round in .243 go for 95grain hornady sst, or nosler partion 95grain both are excellent, but the nosler only come in boxes of fifty which work out a bit on the expensive side. i can vouch for the tikka, as i have one, its a M595 s/s .243 1/10 twist and i can shoot 95grain sst's into half inch groups at 100yards. you simply wont get a better gun for so little money. the sako barrell's and tikka barrell's come of the same production line in the fac

BROWN BREAD on BROWN BREAD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

According to the laws their trying to take into effect here ,you would be cheaper buying the ammo, as by the time your finished meeting all the legislation requirements, you'll be out a fortune....... lets just say their looking for the equivlent of a nucler bunker to store the powder and primers...... you'llonly be allowed 100 primers, bullet heads, and a small ammount of powder.... Us poor sods, lets hope the NARGC. do the business, hopefully des and the gang can pull something out of the proverbial hat....

SNAP SHOT replied to SNAP SHOT's topic in General Talk
Right on macnas!!! des is da man pity he wasn't running for election. Every time i see the canvassers coming they put up a wall, and skirt around the subject, And talk about health, education, etc. but i think both the goverment and civil service are one in the same boat. money, money money, des is currently in a battle i'm following v closely,he's a smart guy. FIGHT the power and lets all hope it goes our way. one year should tell -
CALLING all shooters. The goverment are trying to rip off the shooting community yet again. Its time to make a stand. the election is nearly upon us and the scum will soon be looking for your vote. Make your voice heard on this matter as it is a massive increase from 38 euro pr year to 170 euro every three for ONE RIFLE!!!! and god i'm angry. the situation gets no better for the shotgun licence either..... somewhere in the region off a 66% increase and the workload will be taken away from the garda for two years as its going to be a three year fac IF it gets the go ahead......... WE sho

Hey bud, Thanks for the reply what brand of scope do you import? I'd be quite interested but as it will be a pretty expensive (for me) one-off purchase i'd feel more comfortable sticking to a relaible brand with a warranty etc TO local yokel, FIRSTLY i'll say this don't buy what you think will get you by, SECONDLY by a scope with the reticule set in the second focal plane. the crosshairs stay the same size no matter what the mag. setting you select on the scope. my money is on the schimet and bender range or leupold. both of these scopes will do you proud. check out optics zone f
