    i was watching that documentary / tv show, on ITV2 last night, commando, on the front line. they had the recruits despatching rabbits, then skinning them. they were using the old bruce lee chop. the instructor had to do it twice as it didnt kill the first time and said that he was doing it again just to make sure. in my opinion the quickest way & most effective is the method of grabbing the back legs and the head to break the neck nice & quickly. richie

    well for starters, thats my mrs thats holding the ferrets. and secondly i dont use camera trickery, both are been held the same distance from the camera, so dont accuse me of trying to trick people ! i thought id post a picture of my hob as the size of him is unlike my others. and he aint the average size of any ferret..

    i would of thought the same by looking at the pictures, but hes big boned with hardly any bag on him. hes bred for size. i also believe in free feeding. ill be breeding him with a large jill i have. richie

    lloyd... its all to do with the health & safety regulations ! in other words, we like our fingers. hes still in the stage of been a bit nippy. his head is the size of a cat. loco :crazy: we feed him anabolic steroids and he has just joined a gym, he goes 3 times a week.. :showoff:

    went out last night to give the merlin the test. after a minute or so of getting it attached and quickly set up i began my stalk on some previously lamp shy rabbits and would of been a pain to use the ferrets on as this part of the ground is totally overgrown with brambles ect. the view that i was getting through the scope was quite limited, i was using my simmons 4-12x40 AO front end parralax, which turned out to be a bit of a bollock ache having to keep reaching to the front to fine focus. waiting for the first to appear, it was nice having a bit of time to try to work out the di

    bought one of these yesterday and have just finished setting it up on my rifle. going to take it out tomorrow to give it a bash. before i go out though, i reckon i might have to upgrade to a laser illuminator to get the distance. but ill see. also i kept reading that by putting a add-on it makes it uncomfortable with having to position your head further back, personally i cant really tell the difference. i havent got it attached to one of their reccommended scopes but just for now ill use it with my simmons 4-12x40 AO front end parralax untill i buy a scope next week. richie ex
