    river mud ,germoline ,old spice , wet dog , fire ,horse shit ,daz soap ,( you would get something free out of the box sometimes and the smell would linger ) the hospital smell that you dont get any more ,brylcream , boiled cabbage from every back kitchen on a sunday ,home made baking in the oven smell ,ink wells on the school desk ,the smell inside chandlers shops ,the smell in a good old fashioned english chippy , walking down any high st you would get the reassuring aroma of butchers , bakers , fishmongers greengrocers all with their distinctive smell .
