Pike Fishing With Lures.. New Vid (Good Watch)
Alan... replied to FERRETBOY's topic in Fresh & Salt Water Fishing
Do you ever do live or deadbaiting rew? Watched a bit of the video but lures don't really take my fancy, think I'd like to watch one of your videos if it was on lives or deads though. TL, Alan. -
carp fishing is about who's got the most expensive of everything, hence why I don't do it. River fishing is more about enjoying your surroundings, I haven't got expensive gear but I catch my fair share of fish, and have my fair share of blanks, but I'd choose watching kingfishers all day over looking at 10 bivvys, any light rod with a simple set up will see you having a good day, as long as your sole focus isn't just catching fish. tight lines.

Also, your gun has a "tactical torch attachment" but your camera doesn't have a flash? -

It's nice when you get a decent write up but f**k me that's like reading a GCSE English paper, why does everything need to be explained in as many words as possible, got halfway through and wanted to put a pellet in my own head. -
Nice one vizlauk, hopefully we both find buyers

Hi mate, Yes it's a Hull Cartridge and I can't find a matching serial number on the internet but I could only find serial numbers up to 2006, it's 1756398 if you want to check it. Can text pictures if you PM number or will have to wait til tonight as I'm a bit too busy to do the imageshack thing. Cheers, Alan.

Walther Rotex Filling Problem
Alan... replied to Alan...'s topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Just looked them up, they look good. but I'm a plumber and have O rings a'plenty, if it blows again I'll get a dowry, cheers mole -
Alright chaps, About to move in with the misses so my money is tied up in dinner sets and towels not where I want it to be in hunting and fishing tackle so this rifle is up for sale... HW80K with screw barrel and silencer, good condition, two minor dinks in stock, look like small finger nail marks under the stock by the trigger, barrel could do with bluing, very slight pitting, feels more like dry skin than 'pits' to the touch. Just being honest though. No scope. £180 ono need it gone ;-) collection from Gillingham Kent Alan. (Will add pics for interest shown, not going to

Walther Rotex Filling Problem
Alan... replied to Alan...'s topic in Rifle Reviews, Technical Help and Tips
Cheers lads but figured it out last night, what felt like air coming out of the gun was actually leaking between the pump hose and gun adapter, sorted with an O ring -
So can he have your perms or not pianoman?
-
Why on earth would anyone that's worked hard to get their permissions just go giving it away? Come on lad think about it seriously,we're all in the same boat and you're barking up the wrong tree
-
Alright chaps, got my first PCP today, went for a pump instead of a tank, the problem I've got is the adaptor that plugs into the rifle seems to just leak all the air, as if the O rings aren't thick enough? Am I being stupid or is this a common problem? Guessing the pressure from a tank would be great enough for it not to be a problem? Alan.

Nice write up and shooting mate

Nice one mate

If it has any match anglers on it ask them what the pike have been following in, then catch them yourself and use as livebait

I would highly recommend going with somebody expierienced, at least once, just so they can show you what's what, because watching a video and being on the bank are very different, but after that the items above will do you good, wire cutters are a 100% must have, I Use these http://m.screwfix.com/pr-gallery.htm?id=47997#imggal1 Very good for cutting trebles when in a difficult position. Tight lines.

Cheers for link, although looking through that thread I found "all Jeeps after the early 90s have a one-piece axle shaft (with the 95 YJ being the last one)" So that shouldn't be the problem with minE I assume?

Drove on some slippery mud at the side of a couple of lanes, definitely only in 2WD, shows 'part time' on the dash lights when in that gear but when it comes to it, doesn't engage Alan.
-
Went to go laning the other night when I got there I pulled the gearstick up to put it into 4WD but the 'full time' light never came up on the dash and didn't engage the front wheels, always worked before this, so put it back into 2WD and as I drove off there was a whining from the back of the motor, any ideas? Hoping it's a common problem with an easy fix, not the transfer box. 1997 4L. Alan.
