  1. I would have thought you would need to know the basics of range and scope set up before you start shooting live quarry. Under the scopes screw off turret caps there will be adjusters, usually marked L-R and U-D. If you are shooting to the right you need to move the zero to the left, so you move the adjuster in the direction of the L arrow etc. You will also need to know the effects of shooting targets higher or lower to your position. Untill you are comfortable with your gun setup, how it shoots, what holdover/holdunder you need to use at various distances in relation to your rifles zero I w
  2. great read, would love to meet up with someone from my own area (merseyside) to show me the ins and outs of stripping my hw99s. I have looked at strip down articles, but with no tools and no experience of ever stripping an air gun I would be scared of ruining a perfectly good gun .

  5. Very nice shot mate, would love to do a bit of shooting outdoors myself. I mainly shoot at 20m at my local gun club, Its just not the same
  6. ooooooooooooo thats just plain filth Stunning stock, would love something for my hw99s but looks like i will just need to get another rifle, no one seems to do stocks for them
  7. What ever scope you decide to get, make sure it has AO adjustment (or sidewheel), I am just about to get a new scope myself due to not being able to focus on targets at 20m. I have a hawke 3-9x40 and the optics are very good, but if i use the focus to get the reticle pin sharp then at short ranges the target is blurred, if i get the target focused then the reticle is blured
  8. A big hello from Liverpool. Name is Roy and I live in the Vauxhall area of Liverpool. I have just returned to shooting after a break of some years. My main love was handgun shooting, but after the goverment decided to ban them I kind of lost my way. I have had Airguns since I was about 12, started off with a gat and an sp50, moved up to a Diana model 79, then being young and stupid I bought and swapped most of my good guns for rubbish. Got bored with an original model 6m and swapped it for a crossman 1377 and to make matters worse I had swapped my Feinwerbau sport mk1 for the original. Anyway
