  1. was my birthday on friday and the missis has bought me another weihrauch its an oldie but im well chuffed . im now the happy owner of a 1972 hw35 shes in a bit of a state but i love project guns the blueing is shot and its full of the gunk they used too put in rifles heres a couple of pics got a few questions its running a leather piston seal it seems fine but is it worth replacing it with a modern seal and am i better fitting a standard spring or is a sfs welsh willy kit worth putting in , . the scope is a bushnell banner and looks old too but im stuffed if i know .

  3. my hw80 has been running a mtc mamba light for a while now and its been ok but i recently put a wtc on my 77 and the difference is night and day , does anyone know if i can get a wtc with an AO and milli dots as the 77 is using the tuplex cross hairs and i would prefer the milli dots for the longer ranges . i was looking at hawke scopes but after reading andys thread sod that can anyone help as i cant find out bugger all about the scopes made in the philippines its all the Chinese one i can find cheers chris

  6. got a falcon raptor lighthunter which i prefer to the 100 for some reason so will still have a pcp
  7. was out having a look about some shops today and stupidly shouldered a hw97kt and now i want one , the problem is her indoors has said i have to make room as i have too many rifles . been thinking about selling my hw100kt for while now but is their much point in buying a 97 when i already have a full length 77 with a service kit from v-mach and a 25mm piston in their , is their going to be a huge difference in the 2 guns .the 77 serves me well and if theirs a miss its always down to me not the gun , one option sheena ( the missis ) has said it to get it sfs tuned with the money i dont sp

  12. got a fn12 light hunter and its a cracking little gun i reach for it over my hw100 when im going on a farm permission every time and for 150 your not gonna be to bothered if it get a knock or 2 , go for it
  13. dont have one forsale but if you want too meet up i can let you shoot my 80k and my hw77 both weihrauch and great guns , and both bought from the scotadds for less than 180 quid each im in sunny stonehaven
  14. if you can take out the bolt and put in a split washer it sounds like the bolt has run out of threads the split washer should take up the slack and hopfully hold it tight hope this helps bud

  16. you will hear alot of guys going on about the hw80s being heavy before you start believing these statements go and shoulder a few guns as said above the 90 and 95 are all great guns that will last forever given the [bANNED TEXT] treatment but thats only the tip of the ice berg ,plenty of good guns out their but i cant see past weihrauchs if you want to narrow the search 1 - how much do you want to spend 2 - are you after a scope as-well 3 - what caliber 4 - new or second hand i have has 2 hw95s one in .177 and the other in .22 but found them too light for me .i know shoot an 80k
  17. i have both and can't say i prefer either both are on springers and both guns i can hit a 25mm spinner at 40 yards , best thing too do is look threw both
  18. looked spot on zini and just in aww of the 50 meter groupings ., , you should see the state of the hw35 i just picked up . thats gonna be a project over xmas
  19. go for it bud , bought a rough 77 a while ago for £130 with a little tidy and a service kit in it from v-mack its spot on and going nowhere . is it a carbine or full length as in full length they are nose heavy but i find it perfect for me as i love nose heavy guns
