    Lol, i like it anywhere aslong as there sport to be had, carnt wait for this cover to die off properly then i can get some proper hawking in, not long now though the nettles are just starting to curl over, i think everybodies ready for it even the ferrets are starting to get restless

    Just a quick update, took the bird lamping tonight just for a quick walk around and he was alot more switched on than the last time, flying two rabbits that just made it to cover before he had chance to get a foot on them, i think hes got the idea now although i should really be on the lamp tommorow while he has still got tonights outing fresh in his mind ive been invited out ferreting so going to have a go at some sets with him, my mates also started his harris on the creance and hes coming a decent distance so will get some pics of him, he is a seriously quick bird so will be a decent freez

    I would mate, to keep reducing weight to get a response is bad with any bird, better to hold a steady weight for a couple of days and then adjust accordingly

    Just keep taking weight off wont get a result, maybe hold him at a certain weight for a few days and see what response you get, obviously im no expert with gosses but thats only the same with what i do with my harris. You could do with trying to find someone who flies gosses to give you hand maybe

    Loads of people will say that doing that is bad for the goldfish but the goldfish ive got now ive had for 16 year and its still going strong and thats with doing exactly what your doing

    I saw the pic of the rabbit, looked like it had been through a meat slicer lol. Problem is with close shots is when im practicing its at about 15 yards so any closer my point of aim changes and even when shooting instinctive i still tend to miss, need more practice at different ranges!

    Falconry is just the puruit of quarry with birds of prey, how you do that is upto you, if you wanted a hawk that hunted from following in you should have stuck with the harris lol, off the fist flights are better in my opinion anyway, there more sporting and in terms of the actual flight more testing as they havent a hight advantage. If i had a gos the only time it would leave the fist when im hunting would be when slipping at quarry. Just my opinion though

    I do think alot of the things that happen are too convenient to happen but dont think its scripted, dont think phils the bloke to put up with all that, he doesnt even have a phone lol, And i only found out the other day that theres 4 brothers and the one who we havent been told about is appearing in series 4

    They are massive mate but some lads use 16mm lead for pheasants so these will be around the same weight i should think, and i got 50 for free think i will have a go with the 30-20mm taper for them, should be good for short range, and knocking pheasants and pigeons from there roost, not that im planning on doing so

    What taper of theraband gold you lads using to take game? ive just been given 50 what look to be around 18mm steel ball bearings ,there absolute monsters lol I use 25-20mm with 12mm lead but thinking something like 30-20mm would be better with these any other taper you would recommend? Then just state your favourite setup with what ammo, be good for beginners looking for advice like i was when i first started out
