  1. Just seen this on YouTube http://m.youtube.com/index?&desktop_uri=%2F#/watch?v=FpE4Pq5pv70 Different style of hunting a harris than what we're used to. Just goes to show how versatile a harris is. Recon they would be able to do a pheasant off a point over here?
  2. That will probably explain why your hitting the forks, if your aiming with your right eye but the catty is being drawn to your left cheek then your aiming with your catty from an angle. You need to swap hands and aim with your right cheek and right eye then everything will be aligned and straightdon't know how true it is but I was told to also pick part of the catty in gnashers case say the top of the right fork and use that as your 'sight' I just aim down my bands
  3. Ive got two more camo catties thats gonna be up for sale in a week or two, they will be stunners

  6. Me too. It needs to be gone soon because ive seen a falconry glove i NEED lol
  7. If you close your eye to shoot you want to hold the catty in the opposite hand to what eyes open, e.g. if your right eye is open hold it in your left hand

  12. only thing i seem to hit with stones are my hand. plus for the time it takes to find the more suitable ones you might aswell just cast lead. what setup you using at the minute gnasher?
  13. Ocset does that catty have any particular name ? tried a few now and just cant get to grips with them but never seen one like that before. As others have said its a Toucan. I usually shoot naturals that I've made. I've got an apple fork that I've shot for years with TBG. I decided to shoot these skinny Chinese tubes for at least a year to give them a proper try. The years more or less up but I'm really enjoying them and still making kills out to the same distance I did with TBG. To be honest, I think I'm more accurate with these tubes. I bought this frame so that I got the whole Oriental

  15. with the size of her i bet she would have done good on those hares. the female ive got at the minutes a complete mystery as to how she will perform. 3 year old and never been put on anything live. just praying i can get her going
  16. If you must be answered She was in yarak @ 3lb 1oz would follow on up to 3lb 3.5oz The reason she would not take pheasants is because there are no shoots in this area and the nearest ones you could not get permission within a couple of miles of them. Does that help? TC Hefty bird that. How was she at hunting?
  17. Hahah good un mate, made me chuckle. Dont be making tiercel even more pissed off at me though its bad enough as it is mate lol.
  18. End of the day mate, you try and hit an egg sized target from the opposite end of the canal and then tell me if it needs skill or not
  19. The image of a catty is hardly a good one anyway is it? Its widely known its a poachers weapon and thats what it will always be. Fieldsports are all going the same way whether we like it or not, its no secret either what still goes on in hunting that shouldnt be, catties will be no different.
  20. How do you know there semi tame and been mugged? No matter what you shoot with a catty the game is usually stationary. So what makes a magpie shot at say 15m any different to headshotting an out of season duck at 15m? With the sounds of it you dont shoot a catty anyway so why you so bothered?
