    Finally had the chance to get out with the catty now I'm out of hospital. In not allowed to walk far just yet but a short walks all I needed to headshot this dove with 12mm lead. It's good to be back out

    Squirrels seem to bring that out in people lol. I know when me and mates have gone for them with the air rifle and dogs we all end up running after them like big idiots lol

    Ye that's the thing. Way i see it is some falconers in america fly nothing but squirrels with Harris hawks and even with the males and they never seem to have major injuries. I think I will just see how she goes on them and weigh the dangers to the reward at the time

    Thanks mate. I'm hoping so. Probably start her on easy p------ge then try her on some easy rabbits. I've got some nice land with plenty of squirrels and pheasant so we can try him on them. Not sure whether to put mine on squirrels or not ?

    The Asda reds are equal to thera gold and the blue are stronger than them so in theory they should be faster than thera gold. I've killed loads with them

    We're gonna have to meet up this year mate I know we said it last season but we both had alot on. Might be able to sort a day out with my mates eagle in the season depending on how well he goes. Can't wait for the season now. It's getting to that time where its not long to go but it feels like forever lol

    No most dogs will let go as soon as their feet come off the ground. If you hold on the dog can't get round to bite you anyway. Had to do it a few times with the staff when I've had trouble with other idiots.
