because the vast majority wont do it mate, trust me ive tried lots of different breeds lol get a mate to put a mask on and hide get the dog in defense (act scared) while on a walk, shout at each other, then get him to approach you aggressively, maybe while banging a stick on the floor. watch your dogs reaction. thats why i said either a yapper or a fully under control, trained, tried and tested dog.

@ bosun, ive got a nasty looking powerful dog,its not a guard though. if you actually test most dogs that act the part, you'll find out they arent,i'd be amazed to see any lurcher that was a genuine man stopper. That thing of mine dont just 'look' nasty neems... But lets face it, of all the breeds mentioned, why cant a lurcher be on par... because it has greyhound blood added... So my bull cross cant guard, my collie/bull type lurcher cant, Ray's half bred Ally Etc. Irrispective if you want a 'man stopper' or not, the point is, why go get yourself another dog to do the job the one you

id either get a yappy terrier or go the whole way and get a dog bred and trained for the job. imagine some powerful, nasty, uncontrollable beast getting loose in a public place, just a time bomb waiting to go off. you could be 10 foot away, but without control over the dog thats enough for an 'accident' to happen.

id just like to see nature take its course whether government backed or not. if you go to another country and contribute in the destruction of their identity, expect it to end badly for you and everyone who looks like you. as for human rights, some of them are fine, but people who have no business being here in the first place i.e anyone who isnt white, they dont apply to,regardless of what any EU politician says.

its funny that people believe they arent aware of their own childrens opinions, thats not how it works,if you cant talk to your own family about any politically incorrect views you cant talk to anyone imo,and then how would you make contacts etc in those circles? people are so brainwashed its unreal, you can even see it here 'im not racist....but' etc terrified to state the blatantly obvious truth that we're losing our identity while bending over backwards to uphold everyone elses.

some ignorant feckers out there,i once ran about half a mile after an old mans dog that chased a rabbit across a busy road and just carried on,got it back to him and he just said 'right' took the lead and walked away, though this was in yorkshire. not just the dog you helped out, could have eve prevented a crash.

no. you can just maintain muscle mass (maybe only to a degree) while dropping weight,in fact this is something anyone whether they're aims are for health, performance or vanity would definitely want to do. you try taking your entire daily protein intake in one sitting then tell me you don't have a nice big dump within the next few hours which gets back to the point we seem to have strayed from 2000 cals in 1 meal is not the same as 2000 cals spread out.

you can only absorb so much of any nutrient in one sitting, whether that's protein, fat, vitamin D or water. if you eat lots of small high protein low carb meals you will hopefully metabolise more protein than had you eaten it all at once. tried and tested by athletes and bodybuilders who put this stuff into practice in the real world, regardless of what the pencil necked theorists suggest,if it ain't broke... The pencil necked theorists these days usually are athletes, LOL. What I am telling you IS used by athletes everyday, it's not just theory. The human body is only capable of d

intermittent fasting has worked very well for everyone i know whos tried it,it would be almost the polar opposite to how you do things by the look of it. i cant speak highly enough of it tbh, dont get sick on it,loads of energy, good skin and hair (apparently ),all sorts of health benefits. only problem for me is i cant build much muscle on it.
-
was interesting reading the low carb diet thread on peoples ideas on losing weight etc. does anyone here follow any unusual diets? i like intermittent fasting, the best for me being the warrior diet, under eat all day and over eat 3 hours before bed,to put it simply. works well if you're busy, but when everything's calmed down here i'll go back onto 7 small high protein meals a day and then alternate between those 2 diets.

you can get lower carb equivelants of bread, pasta etc meat, fish, salads, some types of veg, protein drinks and bars if you crave sweets.

i thought break was step back and you can get stuck straight back in? i thought it was stop where you had to be told box again.

probably no right or wrong answer here just opinion. i was sparring a while ago, first time in about 4 years under boxing rules, about 2 years muay thai\full contact KB. anyway i got the better of the lad i was in with but it wasnt a war,the lad grabbed hold of me,coach said break, but instead of taking a full step back i just stepped back with my lead leg then stepped in with another shot,a bad habit from thai i think. as soon as i through the shot i knew it was wrong and would have apologised had the lad not put his hands down tried to square up to me gobbin off etc,the coach said

do you find them more obedient than other types youve had? ive had and been out with a few highly driven dogs and theyre a pain in the arse a lot of the time,i enjoy going out with my curret slow, stupid busher more tha any of them because she does exactly as shes told no matter what, never argues over a catch or huts too far etc

Dont Ask This Fella For Permission. . . Go On Bugger Off !
neems replied to a topic in Lurchers & Running Dogs
not round here there isnt. a mate of mine has been trying to get permission to shoot on a farm basically next door to where he has had permission to shoot for over 20 years. dressed smart, refrences and insurance in hand etc they wont have any of it. me and a northern irish mate went down dressed scruffy as feck with lurchers in tow and done the 'have ya got any deer goin spare mister' routine (he spoke) and off we went. theyre terrified of upsetting them lot,and when you hear some of their horror stories its no wonder. -
i wrote another post about the story of the crucifiction and how it was stolen from a much older pagan ritual. i cant put up link atm but you could easily find it on google. it's obvious to me that the early christians bastardised their religion so that europeans would accept it.
-
QB what's your thoughts on xmas and all its traditions, easter, hel, jesus dying being resurreceted, new year and all its traditions? all of those are pagan, all much older than christianity, there are of course many more. i'm really just curious how a christian can answer all this,if you weren't already aware of these then you really havent done much critical research.
-
says who? the middle east has been a melting pot for a long time, people mongrelised and ideas on religion\beliefs adapted and changed a lot. judaism was originally a pagan religion, yehwah (the god of war) being one of many gods,so in that sense it could be true that they practiced this ritual first (though to another god) since they would have been more reliant on agriculture earlier than europeans. the more isolated and the purer the people, the older the religion.

as in that flat bread the give you in mass,,could do with a bit utterly butter on it that gear the flesh of the deity of the field, the wine symbolised his blood. again long before christianity.

better to follow the supposed ramblings of some bronze age jews?

god has cured millions of people of cancer, disabilities, learning difficulties, you name it. but not amputees,he thinks they all deserve it,apparently.

would a couple of dogs take a lynx? can you imagine the carnage wolves would cause in this country?
