  1. didnt kow this but had a pair of canaries together for a couple of days and then took the cock away and put in a finch 2 1/2 weeks together and out hatched what i thought was 4 mules but now looking at the colours i reckon deffinetly canaries
  2. very easy to keep and breed great little bird with no health issues as such couldnt start off with a better bird imo
  3. nice chicks, I think isabelle has cinnamin and agate which is silver in its make up. They look like they have patches of white on some them.They should be variegated, should they still be colour fed? Yeah I would colour feed them. I put a clear mosaic to a mosaic red black last season. They are only mongrels if you want to call them that.I bred them for feeders.I colour fed them and got some lovely colour in the cocks. sound raymond i only bred them to get a few whites for muling next year and of course something completly different comes out LOL thanks again

  5. reason i ask is i crossed a clear red mosaic cock over a red isabell satinette mosaic (red eye) and i got the same color chicks as yours back just found it strange for them to produce this color but maybe its normal

  7. have a look at dempsey pet supplies, in ireland but he delivers to uk sound man and bird keeper aswell has almost everything you would need and very cheap also
  8. no all sounds good but canaries dont usually tend to break eggs and just make sure to start feeding softfood, egg food a day or 2 before there due to hatch

  10. dimorphics, satinettes and irish fancy the dimorphics and satinettes are for muling but il get one round for next years muling
  11. they seem to go down every year early for me just plenty of conditioning and as much natural light as possible my shed has 4ft of 10mm perspex allround which gives all the light they need and it also holds the heat
  12. first 4 of 43 hatched lastnight and 3 more to lay and thats the first round of canaries sorted
  13. they can vary have a dog 16" and a bitch about 13"
  14. no not my own line of bull russell all years of bull russell breeding except the half bred bitch which i bred from a full bull bitch and a 8yr old russell dog 2 dug this year with her very slow to go but as stated above the half bred can be a bit stupid
  15. no prob snizle alot of people on here knock the english bull for some reason just thought here we go again, most white terriers my way have ebt in them and theres alot of good ones around

  17. wouldnt be in my yard if they didnt, i can assure ya i dont keep show ponys there all young the 1/4 bitch has 11 dug this year and 13 dug total she,s 3 in november and the 1/2 bitch has 2 dug very slow to go but getting there she 2 in june the broken coated dog is only 12 mts and the tri colour pup is only 6 mts theres alot of very old russell breeding back in all these dogs for years what a dog looks like doesn,t bodder me buddy
  18. heres a few of mine 1st is 1/8th bull 2nd and 3rd is 1/4 and 4th is first cross most terriers down my way have ebt in them somewhere along the lines
