  2. Well . myself and Adam (rabbitcatcher1) were out today with the ferrets local ish but cracking land . The day started with rc1 leaving his collas in his van lol my falt mate sorry, Rc1 took my motor as it's just a short drive and I started to net up the bank side we had pland todo apart from me having a gamy hand Mother Nature through every thing she had at us the bitch she off my xmass card list for good fxxx cow. Very strong wind very heavy rain hail stones size of golf balls but worst off all BABY RABBITS but we give it our best and ended the day with 31 rabbits 2 misses and 2 digs eac

The young we got today was a bit of a shock , but middle of December Adams mate came up from London for weekend and when were where out we had young same size then , when I seen first one today thought hope to god that's that dwarf fuxker I got before I was shxt it's not ADADM look then he was bent over a hole saying no no no then pulls two more out gutted
  4. We had a few young today must of been born Xmas time and plenty of them full with kit and the nets where full of fur of them , gutted it's ending so soon but gives me more time with my young lurcher pup

It was a spring guide problem who ever dean got it of tride to tune it by shorting the guide but ended up adding a washer and the stroke was not good enuff it's sorted now and I'm pleased to say the new owner, big thanks to dean top bloke really nice guy to talk to going to be taking him out for the day with ferrets and then lamping on the night if he gets a pass from his misses l

  15. Nothing worse than using a big or medium spade when your right in the middle of a hedge
  16. Probs be cos they not using a finder and just leaving the ferrets in the set easier to steel them than to dig them out lazy theving bastxxds
  17. I've sharpened mine to chop through ruts and I've dug 3 ft through slate filled banks with ease where a big spade would bend but I always take a big spade for the deep digs
  18. Get some pipe in your garden and let them play init they will get used to you going to pick them up from the holes, try using them with a older ferret that's works the warrens good
  19. Think it's all down to working in all wethers for 20 odd years mate steel erecting is not the best out side job todo, it's been niggling at me for a bit then Thursday went to bed Friday got up then tried to put t-shirt on and it just went pain was unreal , but my thumb had been numb nearly all week
