  1. Hi This show has had some shit luck regarding the weather over the last few years and deserves a great weekend. I know how much effort they put in to make this a must for the calender....so get up to mid wales...it will be worth it for the scenery alone. The evening entertainment including the hunting horn blowing contest is a real bonus Onelesscharlie
  2. Hi Ive done a little more digging and dragon made a D3 version which was non strippable and for .243 to .308. This unit has a bonded front end cap and mild steel baffles (which may be why its rattling). If you want me to have a look at it I am up in Mid Wales so you can either take a trip up or post it (unless you are going to be at the Welsh Game Fair) in which case you can drop it off at the Mid Wales Rifle Club stand. Up to you but you know where I am if you need any more assistance. Colin :)
  3. Hi Mate Butler Creek listings show the Fullfield II 4.5-14x42 as having a no 11 eyepiece and a no 39 objective. regards Colin
  4. Hi Mate Most dragon mods are fully strippable with interchangeable washer type baffles and spacers. I would think that it is easily repaired as long as you can get it apart. If you dont fancy doing it yourself and dragon wont help feel free to pm me and I will do it for you. Colin
  5. Hi My tikka has a 1 in 8 twist and is poor with anything less than 55g, found the winchesters far better than the remingtons. Just bought some corbon 60g soft tips and it loves them....no over penetration either, they just fragment internally so can even give the local taxidermist something he can work with. Colin
  6. Hi I have an archer unit fitted to the back of my SP Raptor scope, these scopes are endorsed by julian at starlight and retail at £135.00 plus carriage. If you need any additional info please feel free to contact me or have a look at www.onelesscharlie.webs.com You can see the scope and archer fitted on my t3 lite regards Onelesscharlie
  7. Hi Mate Sometimes these ballistic silvertips are really hard to get hold of and if I come across them I buy them as a matter of course. I have tried them in my old 223 cz and the tikka that replaced it and found them to be the best factory round (other than corbon 60g) available. Trouble is once you get used to the level of accuracy they offer out of the box you wont use anything else. Having said that they may not suit your rifle but I doubt it. Colin
  8. Hi Just a quick note for those of you out there that may have an interest in a moderator for 338 or 50 calibre. For details contact George via www.qsmsilencers.co.uk Cheers Onelesscharlie

It was a bit quiet at work today so ive rattled up a prototype adjustable pad that should fit most stocks with a void in them. May be of interest to anyone else who is struggling. regards OLC

  20. Hi Chaps Ive had a whisper that the QSM range of titanium moderators will be available in the UK very soon. Light, very efficient and very compact they should ruffle a few feathers. 22. Hi All I am posting this on behalf of a mate but any enquiries can be pm'd through me. The action is a tikka 590 left handed, this has a smaller ejection port than the 595 so the action is a stiffer construction. The has a brand new cut rifle barrel which is screwcut 1/2" x 20 It is a brand new Mcmillan hunter drop in stock fitted with swivel studs and a pachmayr recoil pad Price should be £1500 but in the current climate he would accept £800 Thanks for looking Onelesscharlie
  23. Super quality scope for sale, as new condition mp8 reticle with weaver style mounts. For full details see www.border-barrels.com or pm me.
  24. UTTER BOLLOCKS These semi auto's are not made within 100 miles of the Hatsan factory, they are made by a company called Kral Arms and are based on the browning semi auto action. They are a little barrel heavy but for f****s sake what do you expect for under £400. As for the 20 bore being like a "sledgehammer" try a remmy 1187 filled up with 3" heavy lead. Onelesscharlie
  25. Hi I found that remington 50g ballistic tips worked really well through my CZ527 but generally they aren't ammo fussy. Try something cheap like Privi Partisan and if its not accurate enough for your liking you can always go for something more expensive. Onelesscharlie
