  6. Hi Local Yokel I import a range of scopes into the UK and would offer you either a 4.5-14x50 or a 6-24x50, 30mm one piece tube construction, side focus, illuminated mildot. Try it and if you dont like it get your money back. All I ask in return is that if you think its great you tell this forum, if you think its crap feel free to do the same. Im confident I can save you £500+, ive sold 60 of these scopes for everything from bunny bashing to F class target shooting and not one complaint.

  9. Hi Andy Regarding the Escort shotguns - I bought my son one last October for about £320, he has nailed everything from charlies to pigeons with it. It is a little finicky with 26-28g loads but for sensible lead it does the job really well. But take a little advice, just wait a little while and wait for the launch of a new brand in the UK, even Beretta are nervous about them.
  10. Once again Sir I am in your debt many thanks

  13. Hi Chaps I recently posted a request asking for information on a couple of shotguns, however I am still lacking with regard to what is probably as follows: Single 28" barrel 12g with ventilated rib similar to a semi auto. Monte carlo stock Engraved with Hoehler Blitz on the side plates. Any info would be great
  14. Reluctantly for sale an excellent example of American semi auto engineering. Main reason for sale is that im left handed and the gun isnt, each time a round ejects and the wind is in my face I get an eyefull of unburnt powder and crud. Walnut stock and forend, uprated front cap with butler creek sling swivels and sling . Look at Guntrader fore a price guide, however the first £300 gets it, usual certificate rules apply
  15. Many thanks for your effort, I will have a look at the proof marks.
  16. Hi Chaps I aquired a selection of shotguns yesterday rather than see the rozzers cut em up, however I would like some information on two of them. Firstly an english side by side 12g hammer gun made by the west of england gun co of Taunton and secondly a 12g o/u made by SKB. (i think a 525 model. Any info would be appreciated, also I have a single barrel 12g with Hoehler Blitz engraved on the side plates.

  20. Went out last night to check up on some ewes and lambs and try to nail a lamp shy dog fox that has been around for a week or so and has a bit of a shock. Saw a strange pair of eyes amongst them which turned out to be an otter. Anyone else come across one eating afterbirths on a hillside at 1000ft above sea level?
