    Misconception; At one time it was maintained that the true potato somehow got from South America to Virginia(Southern States) and was taken from there to Europe by Sir W. Raleigh. However ,it actually did not reach Virginia until a century after Raleigh.Also ,Sir John Hawkins was supposed to have brought the potato to Europe in 1556,but that turns out to be the sweet potato. The Germans in Offenbach were so grateful to Sir Francis Drake for brining back the the potato from his round -the-world voyage that they erected a statue to him as the "Introducer of the Potato into Europe ." Always got mine stateside..Being wearing the same bib/brace Carhartt tho,12 year just paint them with Tent canvas protector..Bullet proof.. Cabbellas do their own Jkt in Duck or Camo..Well toasty sometimes to warm,Winter just wear sweatshirt under it..once again Bullet proof ..     He seemed to get on with me quite the Thing,And did not mind a bit taking pics ,talking hounds /hunting. I think a 2nd party was more to blame...As you prob Know the man has a wealth of Knowledge here and abroad..One of them things . Enjoyed watching him hunt,but to save the peace stayed away. have never Had the Fortune to see him Hunt from a Horse...as I rode for a few years myself,would be Jockey I would have enjoyed that.

    Why are Mfh.Hunts staff quite Happy to be Paraded ,and posing for Cameras ,Boxing day meets ,Hunt shows,Gamefairs,etc, but When it comes Hunting sites they take The MORAL high ground.or maybe they dont. If images are to be Taken and used by Antis' any Media source will be used including back catalogue images..surely.
