  1. Very nice animal there mate can see you have put some miles into him
  2. Agreed mate but ,if I doubt I would use a pure greyhound, over a 1/2 cross I'd probably use a lurcher, too much to lose, only speed to gain, But I see what you are saying
  3. All Nice dogs con6212 ,wouldn't guess there's bull in the last one all in great shape
  4. What I mean is don't think too much about the% genetics don't work like that, just because it's a 1/4 don't mean it will be racist or less or more game or faster, don't work like that unfortunately
  5. A good 1/2 cross is an awesome dog for a job,and yes they can run, there are fast ones about, But even heavy ones have there place, some wouldn't want anything else in there,,but a little bull blood goes a long way so a little in a lurcher give that little something
  6. I think it depends what you want a bull cross for ,whether you need anything else other than greyhound, If just a mooching dog then maybe don't need the bull in there in the first place, but bull blood in my opinion Adds a lot more than muscle, gameness Is one thing that you may want bull blood for.
  7. bit tame by your standards you'll be going soft on them, and getting them a kennel soon
  8. Snip that shaaaark you trying one bet the prey drive is off the scale lol
  9. Got to admit it was funny though gafer .....you been laughing enough til now Come on man
  10. If the bnp ever became mainstream ,we would have so many sanctions it would be unreal ,the establishment, international !@#£%& bankers would make sure our country would fall to its knees by blocking trade. I see them, at best,as a protest vote,or voice for working class white Britons.Pretty much the same as ukip
  11. There's a few on you tube seem to run slow bit like boxers http://m.youtube.com/watch?v=fvMCgEsx8DQ I suppose if you got hold of actual working ones it may be different,
  12. Only thing I'd add,to that is ,while young try and keep away from lads with unruly dogs,or hyperactive loons can be hard to keep there attention on you, well behaved obedient dogs will inadvertently help with recall ,in fact I still use my lurcher to bring my terrier back lol
  13. Fair play mate, if you give it out though you got to take it as well, young or old Both fair points, but I just don't see the point or need to run a pup with another dog, when it's starting, causes more grief/hassle than anything else, also just my opinion i agree ,although the company going out is ok
  14. Fair play mate, if you give it out though you got to take it as well, young or old yea like i said, probably had it coming as he likes to pull some of the lads chains
  15. to be fair i think south hams hunter was asking a valid question ,on the grounds that a lot of folk do exactly that bring a a dog on with another dog. and maybe hasn't brought one up alone. i think he could of phrased it better ,and probably had a bit of this coming,as he likes to pull some of these lads chains. Just go easy on him he is a young lad regardless
  16. http://cuteanimalimages.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/02/dog-pilot-prepare-to-attack-and-stuff.jpg Sorry shh couldn't resist
  17. Like I said earlier yes jargon and for the most part for us it's the same . But as has been said not all dogs with high prey drive have hunting instinct But it is jargon as was said about greyhounds and guarding breeds
  18. Very good post bosun11 more less had a similar conversation the other day, About leaving a dog or bitch to prove themselves then losing them. Lost a good terrier the end of last season on his last dig before I was going to retire and get a pup out of him .....hard game at times
