  2. Hello all, Have a few albino and polecat ferret kits from working stock, they will be ready the first week of july. They are free to good home, been fed on a meat diet (Thanks to the farms butchery!) and will be well handled. Im based on the Gloucestershire/Warwickshire border. Many thanks Gk

  6. Hello all, I took the plunge and got myself a little 8 week old lakeland bitch pup. She is as bold as brass already so hopefully she will turn out how I hope she will. Saw the mother, didnt get too see the father however. Apparently the parents are both from Middleton lines but I know aswell as you lot that anyone could say there dogs from Middleton lines! Let me know what you experienced lads think of her, she was from a litter of 7 all of which were identical to one another. Many thanks Gk

  10. Thanks for all your replies guys! I've never seen a jrt work foxes very well? As the dog I'll be wanting will be used mainly below ground. I agree with comments regarding getting good working stock- finding it really hard as just don't know the terrier men around here. Are there many rough coated patterdales around?   11. Ahoy all, Am looking to get a terrier for mainly fox work- am keen for a rough coated type bitch. Have pondered over Lakelands but am worried that it will be abit too big for the earths I have on the place as many are just rabbit warrens. We don't have any nice straw stacks on the shoot either. I've heard good things about Lakeland cross borders but haven't ever seen any in action. My current terrier man uses a Patterdale bitch which works well and is small enough but is smooth coated, admittedly one could say why does coat matter but it's just a matter of personal preference.
