  1. Ive messaged you mate, can you get back to me asap.
  2. I like the sharptooth. Good bit of kit. I just need to find a way to carry it on the quad this season. Its to long to go in the box. I don't go on a quad mate so I can't help with that one, maybe strap it onto the top of the box with some bungee cords?
  3. Bought a sharptooth fork beginning of last season and it's one of the best investments I've made to date. Fairly expensive for a digging tool but saves a lot of time when your on really hard ground. Would never leave the house without it now, brilliant bit of kit.
  4. Ahh right, maybe I'll try the brenners then. I get what you mean about the lowas, totally agree with what your saying.
  5. Just realise what you said about the tatra tops, maybe I won't go for them ha.
  6. Just had a look on the hanwags website and the brennans look like a very good boot but they only do them in a wide fit and I've got narrow feet. The tetra top looks a good boot also, so I think I'll look into getting a pair of them.
  7. Thanks for the replies people. @five feet down, really good bit of information, cheers for that. I must say that I've never heard of the hanwags before, I'll definitely be looking into them. Cheers
  8. They have done well if I'm honest, they have been well looked after also. I've also been looking at the haix boots but I've heard mixed reviews from a few different people
  9. After 3 seasons of heavy use on my current boots (lowa) I'm on the lookout for a new pair. I'm thinking about getting a different make, although the lowas are a good boot they are a heavy boot as well. I'm looking for something maybe a bit lighter and more comfortable. What I've been looking at are Zamberlan and Dedito. Does any of you guys have experience with any of the two? And if so, what's your views on them?
  10. Got to be honest, I wasn't expecting all these replies. Thanks very much fellas, really appreciated.
  11. Thanks for that mate, I will definitely look into it.
  12. Cheers for that oxo, where do I go for the permit?
  13. Cheers for the reply lads, I don't mind a drive if I'm going to get the sport. I've never fished for barbel but I'm really interested in them and would love to catch a few. I'm going to start fishing for them quite often. Thanks again for the replies
  14. Was just wondering if anyone could put me onto some good rivers/spots to fish for barbel in the orthopaedic of England ie Durham, Northumberland, North Yorkshire etc. I know a lot of people don't like to share good fishing spots but I just thought I would ask, in the hope that somebody can point me in the right direction Cheers
  15. They all got life time dog bans, exactly what was needed in my eyes. Only thing is, I can't see the ban having any effect on them not getting more dogs in the future.
  16. Never thought of that mate, thanks for the advice. I will give it a try.
  17. I know it's a long shot but I'm looking for some ferreting permission. Maybe someone has too much land to go at or they have land but don't do ferreting. I'm already in the process of knocking at farms but no luck yet. Looking for anything in and around North East, North Yorkshire, Northumberland. Thanks for reading
  18. I'm half way through mine, I had to opt for a soakaway because of the poor access to the main drainage. It would of cost me a small fortune to get to it and I can't afford that. I just need to build the roof and then finish the doors. It's on hold at the.mimute as I've badly broken a finger at work so my hands in a splint lol.
  19. Seen one at the fell and moorland show on Saturday. Looked like a nice strong dog
  20. I use both types and they both do the job. I wouldn't say one is better than the other if I'm honest.
  21. Don't bother with somebody else's rubbish king, no good terrierman will ever sell a good working dog. It's hard enough getting a working dog in the first place. Try and get to know some good folk and try to see parents working and then try to aquire a pup. The big bit of advice I can give you is don't rush into it (speaking from experience) take your time when looking for a pup. Don't fall into the trap of paying big bucks for crap. Keep at it and don't give up. Good luck mate.
  22. Yes, I also now have 3 of the same size panels but with gates on so you could make a triple run if you wanted. If you are interested then pm me. Regards
  23. She looks very similair to a bitch I have, good luck with her mate.
  24. 3 brand new panels with 5cm gap between bars. I ordered them by mistake. They are 1 meter wide and 6ft high. Full panels, no gates. One of the bars on one panel is slightly bent but nothing serious. £ for the 3, collection only from Darlington.
