    Go shoulder any gun you think you might like before parting with your cash & consider what your going to use it for I have a daystate and its a cracking gun but im posative you can get a gun that is the same or ones that are better for less money Theoben is what im going for if i buy a new rifle ATB Adam

    Blackpool Air Rifles, i ordered 5 tins of various .177 to try out came all bubble wrapped up and took about 2-3 days to get to me, i had no problems i would use BAR again ATB Adam

    I have a 177 and i want a .22 ... but i think its more a case of the grass looks greener on the other side.. they both have there pros and cons and you will find different situations suit different calibre. I would suggest trying both calibre and see which one you like the most ATB Adam

    Its a nice idea, so that there are higher stocks of quarry for when you do shoot... But i wont be participating, my permissions ask me to shoot as many as possible ( horse paddocks mainly ) as they damage the paddocks which could lead to a horse injury. ATB Adam

    I like DPM too, as i get it free I like the jack pike stuff but i refuse to pay for it when i can use the DPM, However i have heard that it does not break up your silhouette/shape as effectively (to rabbits vision etc) as the realtree / jack pike camo. Is that just a sales pitch or is there any truth in that??? ATB Adam

    What time is the wash up on the sunday? i may have to duck out early as i start night shift sunday night, only have to get to peterborough so not a massive trip. ATB Adam

    I've sent my stock, air bottle, shroud and silencer away to hydro precision to get it done properly i know you can get it done a lot cheaper but i personally wanted someone who had done it professionally rather than my half arsed attempt. I will put up pics and a review once i get them back and my gun re-assembled, probably next week some time ATB Adam

    Hello all, This has probably been raised before but.. whats the best tool to clean my .177 barrel with? So far i am using a home made pull through which is awkward, flimsy and damn right annoying!! is there a .177 pull through or rod i can get my hands on so i can pull patches through? does anyone use the little wads you can basically shoot through the barrel or are they just rubbish? I am aware of how to clean a barrel ( I service military ones for a living ) but basically Im looking where to get the right tools Any help or a point in the right direction much apprec

    I tend to get better results when i sit and wait.. however i soon lose concentration and end up mooching round anyway the 'there could be a rabbit just round this next corner' thought always gets me to move ATB Adam
