    The finish is really high quality, tough and durable, the camo on mine is the bullrush one with a tan background and matte finish. I am very pleased with how it looks, even the detail on the grip and the daystate decals are all still there, I did wonder if it would fill in the really small chequering but it has left it intact.     Hello All, Just thought i would share a few pics of my Air Ranger .177 after sending most of it to HydroPrecision They have done a great job and its just what i was looking for. The barrel ring i bought after i had sent it away, so at some point that might go for dipping too. Very happy with the finished product ATB Adam EDIT: I should add i told the wife it was going for 'essential maintenance'

    I use a Hawke 400 good little unit, does meters / yards and is fairly accurate ±1, has not got the red reticle for night use though does the job for me ATB Adam

    I agree that changing the barrel length does affect the power and shot counts, longer barrels use less air (to achieve the same fps compared to a shorter barrel) and allow for an increase in power due to the pellet being accelerated for a longer time ( to a degree if the barrel is too long it has a negative effect) However the super 10 you have is putting out just shy of 24ft lbs With the 14.3g, What I was tying to say was I didn't think you would get that much of a power increase just from changing the barrel.     I too have found a pellet when skinning, wasnt mine as it was a .22 and im a .177 man! made me feel great that the rabbit was someones white whale 'the one that got away' .... well he didnt get away from me ATB Adam

    What steve says is correct if your in the UK then that is a firearms cert. air rifle - if you are not in the UK then you should check your regulations on the power regulations for air rifles As for your questions changing the barrel on its own should not give a rise in power like that, changing the internal mechanism workings would - But it is completely possible for an air rifle to put out that much power (the american market is full of really high powered air rifles) As for pellets - probably a heavy domed pellet would suit the rifle (with that much power aslong as you can hit t

I paid with mine today and didnt notice anything odd but I will keep a sharp eye on the account balances etc. after what you guys have mentioned, Ii was out £545 4 years ago when a russian got hold of my details (bank sorted it all though and i got my money back) I noticed when i checked my balance and there was a withdrawl for less than a quid - seemed they tested the water with a small withdrawl before hitting me big!!
