    No but the call bird is Marty Make sure it has plenty of gravy Plenty of that stuff in the dog food i feed them on...I feed the bird's 3 or 4 times a day and make sure they have water. Marty

    Hi Davy No this one was bought off ebay..£70 Iv seen a tutorial on here so in buying a load of roof baton to knock a few up..just order the spring's lastnight off fourteenacer. Iv had 30 in this trap upto now and it's early day's...Iv been watching the magies crossing over field's on my permission's tonight in troop's so the trap's will be busy for a good while yet. I move them from one area to another because there terrortorial and other magies dont like strange bird's in the area and i think this help's in keeping up a good catch rate..that's my opinion anyway.     Cheer's Si...Some bird's wont go in the trap so I wind the van window down and trap a scrip scalf in the door and get them from the van window. Early morning alway's seem to be best..they dont seem as sharp. Wont be making the meet sorry got a few thing's on.. working round my static home..maybe next year.     Good idea Tony..vermin control isnt just about knocking a few rabbits and bird's of with the air rifle and i know your very keen by your profile. Heres a site well worth a look for learning mole catching... Type....Mole trapping at walcote Farm.. This will give you a good start...Try using Talpex or taplon trap's aswell. It's good to try a few different types of trap's. You have to be patiant though and not give up and learn by your mistake's...dont listen to all the myths and so on and in time youl be mole catching with confidence.     Very easy Tony..the trick is to move the larson where you keep seeing the bird's and soon enough youll get your first bird. I use the same bird for a while then after a few day's il replace it with a fresh bird. Iv just replaced my call bird today as the previouse was starting to get wise to me opening the trap and kept trying to escape. Id had him about a week but he was fine and heathy and had got use to me coming and going. The mistake is to leave the trap in the same place...Keep moveing it and youll just keep catching them.     Back on track with the Mole's. Set a few trap's a couple of day's ago..went to have a look how they where doing this morning. It was only a domestic but as i walked to the first trap it had gone off, I slowly pulled it from the ground half expecting it to be empty but there he was..Result.!! And one happy client. Left the other few trap's in as im expecting maybe one or two more. Just sent for a few more trap's aswell. The fenn type mole trap's...Has anyone used them.?? If so how do you rate them.?? Marty

    my own misses was the same,was not to happy to say the least but she has come round as the smaller birds have been coming into the garden more. Iv had it all this week...Its illegal..its crule..i shouldnt be doing it.. it's not right..have you been asked to do it ??..One bloke said " theyv got young over there" So I said "Well hopfully theyl jump in it aswell"..!!     There a nightmare to other bird's..Iv even seen them hounding crow's in the tree's..there causing absolute havok around my way. Iv had a load off the caravan park I live on aswell and the peolpe that live here are getting a bit more kip in the morning's. 5.00am every morning chack chack chack..Not Anymore.!! It's coo coo coo off the collard dove's now but there on borrowed time aswell Marty

    Same here..between 5 and seven a day, I just keep moving trap's around and they just keep jumping in it.

    Had a phone call this morning to go pick a trap up as his wife got upset seeing them in the trap...Some peolpe agree with it but its not everyones thing. I offerd to let them go but he said just take them. Marty
