  4. Do you mean like these horrible little F RS that tryed eating my welly last night...i paid 60 notes for them boots so if they wanted them that much i decided to give it to them PROPER.!! Marty
  5. I think the treadle plate on them is mesh aswell so it will blend in with the rest of the cage hence making the rabbits more confident about entering. Put them where theres pleanty of rabbits..when one rabbit gets confident enough about going near it the rest follow, if you see my point Nick. I wouldnt expect miricles for a few day though Marty
  6. Sound's good to me...some pritty nifty wording there Dave... il Second that. Atb Marty
  7. Ok...got this whole issue with pellet washing sorted...so it ALL about tighter group's Right.?? That's an Ajustable Air Stripper from Rowan Engineering. The cone inside the stripper can be ajusted. The posision of the stripper cone should be aproximately 5mm from the end of the barrel. This is a good starting point and test shooting should be carried out to determine the optimum cone-barrel gap where the pellets form the tightest groups. My HW100 in good conditions will do pellet through pellet hole at 35/40y even without the stripper on. These are £40 and a good bit o

Just had to dispatch the birds though..a ladie had spotted the trap in the farm yard from the bottom of her garden and she was having a good look so i moved the trap out of sight and took them out and shot them. Its been moved to a farm further down the road now. Marty

  18. First you need some traps bud and a bag to put them in. Then find somthing to use as a probe for finding tunnels...i use an old electric fence bar.. the type that have a loop on the top. You need a knife for starting your hole.. as it need to be smaller than the width of a troul and your traps. Find an old spade or shovel and cut off the T handle or use two hammers as i do..this is to make the hole wider and faiming up the base of tunnel..Easy moling is ALL about setting your trap properly and making sure its firmly set in the tunnel and you do this by making sure the soil is very firm on all
  19. Cheers.. theres not moch difference in 60 and + yards a four year old could through a stone between this distance. Its not a shot id take often but that evening i desided ..well why not...it worked out ok. Atb Marty

  21. You don't know how much sense that makes to me! It's that very reason I'm fed up of the point and click scene now, my superten which is for sale is über accurate to the point I have no fun shooting it anymore. It's that very reason I'm buying a decent springer again, I miss being in tune with the rifle and knowing so much I am doing could ultimately lead to a missed shot! I'm going back to where it all started! All be it with a decent scope ha ha. Went out with my old man last night and asked him to bring his tx which is 13 years old and his AA410 for some plinking on one of our perms!
  22. Seen a few of the lads at the club having never ending issuse with them..There seems to be alot that can go wrong with all this added electric stuff..however they are smart looking thing like the Panther that was posted on here not long ago...Id like to own that for Purley looks alone. Atb Marty
  23. Think you should have mensioned...its easy if you know how. Mole trapping can be easy, But if you dont know how, you will only add to the already damaged caused and make yourself look a tad foolish at the end of the day. Marty
  24. Well this is how it is mate..All you are to them is another air rifle weilding individual that tryes to come across as a pest controller thats going to do them a favour by shooting the odd rabbit ect..And to be honest from reading your thread, there not far wrong...sorry for coming across so seemingly harsh. Try look at another way..like this.."Theres no such thing as a free meal". Try making yourself usefull..learn mole trapping, rat trapping, bird trapping..migpies, jackdaws ect..By offering these services your now starting to sound usfull, and in return you will gain the respect you d
