For range's upto 40y I use to use Bisley Magnum's...with very good Result's. Iv been thinking of trying them again but Im doing ok with Exact's as I prefer them for shot placment over the longer distance's. Marty.

This buck was lased at 43y at 2100hh lastnight, wind was about 20+ mph. As he came out of the hedge he turned to face me but i was low in the grass..his head went down to graze for the very last time. The result of a Perfectly executed shot to the brain. Marty

It's all down to what your gun prefer's, try a few brand's... my old HW100kt .177 use to love RWS Superdome's but my current HW100 love's the JSB Exact's. Try good quallity brand's and eventually you'll find the right pellet for your rifle. Marty By the way..the first white lakeland terrier bred by a man called Kenny Jame's was named Gravel..its brother was Flint...2 very famouse terriers they where..especially flint that ended up with a breeder called Ken Gould...Gravel ended up with another terrier breeder called Garry Middleton.

Hi just reading your signiture...AA TX HC for sale.... AA S200 Coming friday...are you sure you havnt already made your choice However the s410 is a good choice. I personally think HW100k sporter but i would say that...Im now on my third..I think there the dog's But you say slightly ambitious... Id say if you can afford any rifle around the £500 mark you can afford a rifle around the £750 mark too...just be paitiant, after all a good shooter should have pleanty of patiant's...hang on to the paper stuff and you can have what ever rifle you want. Atb Marty -
Try getting there before light and sit it out till light. Same last thing in the evening, get there before dusk and sit it out..be patiant. Dont bother with the lamp by the sound's of it there already very shy..cleaver. Shy rabbit's will be out during the day but they'l be in the cover where they feel safe, the doe's wont go far from the burrow's because of the young. This time of year the doe's wont come out till late on..there feeding the young during the day so during day your more likley to get the buck's espesially first thing in the morning because the does kick them out after ma

Im thinking about that actualy...The price's are a bit high for me to justify buying one from ebay..your looking at £100 Marty
-
Yeah looked in there Cheers

This Must be what he's refuring to. Like Iv mensioned in other post's... "Im not the technical type" . Even when Im at the club they all have these chart's on trajectory and range.I point and shoot and do as good as the rest. Cheer's Sean Si..No hard feeling's Il leave the technical stuff to those who can explain better in the future Marty

Are you on about springers deiseling, or PCP's deiseling? Because I dont know if a PCP can deisel, there's no piston sliding through grease on a PCP? Your pellets may have some sort of manufacturing release coating on them maybe. To be honest mate It was somthing a lad mentioned at the gun club about weihrauchs using a particular type of grease that tend's to make them creep over the limit...On saturday il be asking him a bit more about it..il let you know. He's mensioned it a few time's before. Marty
-
migmog.!! I was a member on this site a good few year's ago..Just had a pm of Sean that shon a light on my old profile name. Si I know all air rifles need to bed in and so on. All the point was... was the grease that Weihrauch use, apparently its different from the grease's that are used in other rifle's. Im going by what someone else has told me here..he shoots the HFT nationals every year and knows the game very well and its the lads that use the 100 that have told him this. Sorry if i couldnt explain it any better Marty
-
Im not saying it is Sean, Im just saying that from what Iv been told that the Weihrauchs use a different grease to others. I know Si know's his stuff but..and Im only pointing out a few missunderstanding's. Marty I think i might know you from a local gun club not far from Grange..?? If you remember Steve G.?? It was Steve that was telling me.

Zini settel yourself down pal..Im happy with my Twink, If you read my post properly..It say's "OVER RATED".?? "NO".!! IT'S A NICE BIT OF KIT.!!. As for the rest of the thread, the point Im trying to get across Is that the Weihrauch HW100 has a particular type of grees in it and it tend's after some time to make the rifle go over the legal limit..I was told this by someone at my club who shoot's HFT and he's been told by the HW100 users that it's the grees Weihrauch use. Im not compleatly thick..and Im no Expert on this subjuect... I know the power would alter my zero..but like the post rea

Hi Chap's... Last january I bought a new HW100k sporter .177.. I use the rifle for hunting mainly but I use it at my gun club on saturday where I check the power with a chrono when I first get there and before I leave. I alway's zero at 35yard's but when Im out hunting I very rearly shoot on my zero but more 50y+ When I first bought the rifle it was running at around 778fps....and it was pellet through pellet hole at 35yard's. As i got through about a tin and a half of JSB Exact's I noticed an increase in power..running at around 787+.. It's now running at around 794ish. About
