  4. Been thinking about them for a while...the little mp4 recorders' that you film wild life with...I know a few of the farmer's have started using them on the farm's and lane's to pick up suspect car's, van's, poacher's ect......It's a good call from a point of view.!! Marty

  8. Hi ladies and gent...Went to check on my trap's yesterday and found it had been untied and all the bird's i had in it had been released. As i got to the field where i had my trap hidden in bushes i noticed a very large young lad with a moheken hair cut, bermuder short's and trainer's walking away from the field. I went to the trap hidden in a hedge between two field and notice the door opened and no bird's. I made a phone call that shon a light on the people that had done it, who only lived down the lane. It seem's there anti's as my mate use to hang his shot foxe's on a gate and they

I got into air gunning when i was about 17 and i bought my first rifle, a .22 Webly Vulcan, but moving around from job to job & town to city alway's forced reluctant sale's of my riflle's. Soon I setteled down in my Home Town...Barrow In Furness.. and got back in

Just keep moving it around and soon youl get your first bird...you could try a decoy in there aswell. Pitty your not near here, i would have given you a bird Atb Marty

  19. Sorry Si... just got this image of the lad's spit polishing their round's before spliting someone's head open with them. My daft sence of humer. No really I understand why they do it... IMO its just another complication. Its strange how times change from one generation to the next...In time to come some of these shooters today will be saying "well what do you need to do that for..its a waist of time". Hope the meeting going well by the way. Have fun. Marty

Kind of...went out to shoot a few magies with my call bird this afternoon but not a thing. The bird got a soaking but i was dry in the van...I felt sorry for the bird witch looked like a drawned rat, so packed him back in the back ot the van and buggerd off home. Bored senceless now :boredom: Marty

  23. Hello shooter's..here's a few more picture's of vermin control. Iv had 6 bird's in the trap today and a rabbit with early sign's of mixy. The rabbit was at an esimated 50 yard's as i had no range finder and iv broken my glasses so i opted to take a shot to the chest as you can see in the picture..No washed pellet's where used in the dipaching of this rabbit. The wind was about 12mph and the pellet's i was using where not the pellet's id zerod my rifle with. Marty
  24. No, i take them out and shoot them..its the best way to kill them cleanly. I have the rifle loaded on the bipod...take each one out..hold the head infront of the muzzle and thats it. Very fast with as least stress as possible. Marty
  25. Iv had near on 40 birds now with the trap. Anyone wanting call bird's or a bird to get started give me a pm...im in south cumbria. Marty
