  3. In the real word ..id say so. Lubing pellets is ok but no reason not to keep on top of maintaining and claning your barrel with a good pull through or felt pellet's and oil. Atb Marty
  4. I like this post..very realistic skot Pellet washing IS down to personal prefference but i personaly think its a waist of time. Like you say Skot you win some you lose some. Maybe a thread should be put up of peoples missfortunes when shooting air rifles..Show your bad shots the shot that go low ect. But maybe its not such a good idea... as we have to make a good impression as to hunting with air rifles for those who disagree with it.   6. Good question's...but you seem to have a bee in your bonnet. I shoot this field often enough to to estimate how for that rabbit was and iv used my range finder on the field often enough to have a very good judgement of the distance i was from to where it was. No i didnt have my glasses but hey theres this thing on my HW100 called a scope.!! The pellets i was using where only slighty heavyer than the JSBs i zerod my scope with.!!   9. Try fastning the bait to the plate with a bit of light fishing line..they have to pull and push to try get the bait off the plate. Iv reset mine that fine..if a flea lands on it..it should set it off . Marty

So it doe's, had to have a second look to see how you where seeing it I know what's happend here, its a mk6 trap and there only young rats, its taken the weight of 2 of them to push the plate down.   12. Its this right to roam law...they can go almost anywhere..keeping the trap hidden isnt so easy. Marty its down a long farm road on one of the other farms its got s locked gate and they still walk their dogs or do what ever they are doing. most of them think there doing good. There pricks.. thats what they are.
  13. il tell you exactly what iv been doing..iv hung 6 maggies on a gate about 50 yards down the lane from there bungalow..they get to see them hanging there from there kitchen window. I put two on yesterday but they cut them down..so i put 4 id got in the trap today back on the gate.!! Marty

  16. Got myself a bottol of fairy washing up liquid today & washed All my pellets one by one.!! They still look and work the same though...am i missing somthing.? The rabbits and doves i shot earlyer didnt notice any difference either Marty

  22. Hi i got this one off ebay £70 sound's alot but iv had around 50 birds to date in the past 3 weeks...a small price to pay in my eyes...and there still coming at around 2 to six a day. Iv had 4 sinse this morning and just had a phone call of my mate who owns a farm as i was writing this post..hes had 2 today. The trap im using is light and very easy to move around..the secret to catching so many birds. By the way..welcome to THL Marty

  24. Here's one iv made this afternoon using bits of shiplap & 4x1....thank's for the idea...kept me buisy today. I put a door on the top so I can just peep in to check it..it's 20"x10"x8" The hole is 2 1/2 x 2/1/2". Marty
