  2. Are you shooting? Myself at the moment can't thing of a better thing to do! Stake it out, enjoy the night and bag some bunnies :-)
  3. Hi guys Got a silencer to quiten things down a bit, only to find the noise inside the gun enough to startle any quarry! The current configuration inside the mechanism is: Guide rod ( steel), Striker/hammer, Main Spring (standard), Guide washer and finally a spacer washer. Is there any way of softening the action without adversely affecting the operation of the mechanism? Its been suggested the use of a balloon over the main spring may remover unwanted "ping" which I have yet to try! Chris
  4. There's currently no gauge on the S300 bud. The bottle is now stored outside in a shed, prior to that the bottle was indoors, so will be at room temperature. I'm definetley reading gauge correctly and following to guidelines for filling to the letter. I'm going to be charging the gun again tomorrow. ( club shoot) so lets see what happens then. Chris
  5. Tried filling the gun last night after a bit of shooting, the gauge almost instantly pressurised to over 200! There's nothing like consistency :-(
  6. Lovely shot Elliot Had the volume up to high, now wearing my coffee :-)
  7. Sorry for the repeat post, something was screwy last night?
  8. Bought a brand new 7ltr air bottle 300 bar, had it filled to 307 while I waited, when at home I filled my s300 to 185 ( a good working pressure), all was fine until I tried a second fill, and found the bottle would only charge the gun to 150! Everything but the gun is brand new!! In the past a friend would allow me to fill up with no problem, but with my new kit theres issues. Any ideas guys? Chris

  16. I went to see one of the guns today and saw the scope on it first hand, that's what prompted this Tony
  17. After sifting through rifle after rifle and not wanting to lad to own a pistol, we've sort of settled on the crosman rat catcher! Not the best gun I know but weight wise and usability it fits him. The issue is that the gun comes with a terrible 4x scope! Knowing he will be target shooting only I want him to have a higher Mag but without loosing the benefits of a lightweight gun.. Does anyone have any scope suggestions?? Chris
  18. I shooting friend I have, did take his gun back to bare metal before Bluing Barry. Looks good too, obviously very fine sand paper is used! Unless you like the brushed finish :-) Chris
  19. A process of discovery, so long as your safe and got the tools, give it a try :-)
