  3. Are we going to see you both at the range now then bud? Happy shooting
  4. Great write up Tony Appreciate the time and patience you've given me bud. Chris
  5. I hope there's a consolation prize :-) +yep, certainly is, if you don`t turn up we`ll post lots of pics of us having a ball Oh I'll be there! Cars booked, wife's bribed and tents fumagated.
  6. Not actually tried the mk 2 I had a custom one before this which was quiet, but this is the dogs balls by far. Twice as expensive though
  7. The X3 is a lovely silencer :-) http://i1057.photobucket.com/albums/t396/woodworm1972/f972132e.mp4
  8. I'm the same with the trousers! Have to undo the legs halfway to cool down.
  9. Take care to empty gun before removing filler! Would be a bad day otherwise :-) I've seen a few filler valves screwed in using PTFE tape.
  10. Crosman Premier Ultra Magnums work well in my mate s200.
  11. The scopes great, I have the same one on my S300 and have only one complaint! The threads on the zeroing caps are very thin and easily cross-threaded Chris
  12. Get the photo bucket app, upload pictures and videos to it. Then got to information about the particular image/vid copy and paste the links to your post here in THL. Simples Chris
  13. I shoot the AA S300 .22. Like phantom mentions, crosman ultra mags 14.3gr are by far the best I've used to date! I've tried quite a few now, the worst were the RWS superfields, erratic to say the least. Barrel cleaning is a must, don't use the wire brushes though, velvet pullthroughs and isopropyl alcohol works for me. Chris
  14. No problems filling at all today, it must have been a stickng valve?
  15. It was noticed by Phantom on a shoot Buster! I had previously polished it all up sparkling bud.. The noise got worse after changing to a standard spring rather that the high power spring it came with (secondhand), the reason for change was heavy cocking, excessive power and air loss. There is a lot of slack on the striker where the spring seats? Possibly a hammer change due! I'm willing to try anything to shut it up as the bunnies do seem to notice :-( Using a plastic washer is one idea I was toying with myself mate. Cheers Buster Chris
