Membrane or "brane" theory offers some hypothetical answers to the before and beyond questions and even what triggered the big bang ...like I said at the start of this threads revival at this point in time anything is possible and nothing can be ruled out.

I am struggling to get my head around that concept too. The problem I have is I cannot envisage or understand infinity. I know the definition, but I cannot for the life of me get my head around the concept. Everything has a beginning and end, or has it? TC I find it harder to get my head around the nothing

I've also understand that gravity Could do a similar thing? ...If you flew round a black hole and came back then time would have progressed more here than for you also you could never physically view something fall into a black hole as it's reality of time as it approached the black hole would slow down so much compared to your reality of time viewing it...it makes my head hurt

True, but I thought the relative difference in time was so small we would never be able to utilise it ?If you travel at the speed of light, your time effectively stops relative to a third party. You can't get a bigger difference than that. You could literally travel the width of the universe in a quantum of time.but your mass would be infinite right? So impossible as we understand at this time

I wish I had a better grasp of the quantum stuff im currently reading Billy blue hats quantum physics lol...you might have to be of a certain age to get that .

Much the same as bgd says ...If there in holds then hold em tight and wait for them to go for a better hold you got a split second whilst it loosens it's grip to get a better hold...never try pulling the 2 dogs apart if there already in holds..watch your fingers lol

Good post that France and I agree with what he's saying when you look at just how much had to be just right for us to even exist then it certainly looks like we had a helping hand and we are on just scratching the surface with quantum physics and mechanics it's a great time of discovery we are living in especially with theory's like string theory meaning there could be upto 11 different dimensions.. I think the problem lies on how we interpret it all.
