    It's a great excuse to go to areas you wouldent normally get to even locally there's dso much stuff you don't even realise is there ...be prepared to look there not always easy finds but you do get hints with the app the free app is basic and only gives you details of the easy category but does show the advanced ones but no details. ..for that you have to upgrade £8 I think

    It's not really designed for kids but ramblers and walkers some of the finds are in very challenging terrain or they can be multiple spots giving you map coordinates to find the next ones... But your right as in i wouldnt let my lad go of on his own doing it.

    Seriously? There must be a couple of hundred within 10 miles of me to keep him busy... get the app and look on that its like Google maps but highlights all the geocaches and works like a Sat nav guiding you in.

    I dont think a alis kebab dump would take much finding They dont make them easy to find we was looking for one for about a hour...it was in one of those plastic rocks you hide keys ect in a big pile of rocks ..GPS said we were right on it but still took us a hour ...got the lad off the playstation and into the fresh air so i guess thats a result in its self....don't know why I didn't try it before lol

    Yeah my lad left a mini tape measure in on of the boxes but didn't take anything. ..the other caches were micro so just had a scroll inside a small container that you signed.

    My lad has been pestering me to go geocaching for a couple of months now and to say I wasn't keen is a understatement but this weekend I gave into his persistent whining and gave it a go and I actually quite enjoyed it we even found a nice little mineral water spa in the next village I didn't even know was there ....great way to find hidden little areas that you wouldent normally see and it's free so that's a bonus as everything seems to cost you money nowdays...we ended up finding 4 caches and I'm looking forward to doing some more.

    I have quite a eclectic taste in music anything from hard techno to super thrash death metal... Bauhaus to funky acid house if I like it I like it I don't understand people who put themselves in one box only when it comes to music if its good its good irrespective of it genre.
