  1. The dog I'm on about is possibly the keenest dog I have seen and he only yaps when a rabbit turns 180 degrees and makes a little gap then once he is back to it he doesn't make a sound but he will yap when he loses a bit ground on his rabbits, is he a good rabbit dog arm no he misses more than he catches he yaps less frequent than he did but it frustrates the hell out of me. I keep thinking he will grow out of it but I'm not to sure
  2. Has anyone had a dog that would yap on rabbits but not on other things, let's just say a fox for arguments sake ? Would you work with the dog and not run rabbits or get rid even if you realy liked the dog. Just a bit food for thought ?

He wasn't being himself yesterday and later on about 9 noticed abnormal breathing so I went up and we rushed him to the vets straight away soon as we got there realised the dogs chest looked realy swollen and when he was breathing out it was as if he was roaring soon as we walked in get rushed him into the back 5 mins later the vet came out said he things the dogs heart is failing or he has swallowed something and basically hi body was shutting down so my mate said try everything you can to save him and if all comes to is pts bout 20 mins later vet came out
  10. Bought a ex taxi focus estate put a dog guard in cost 500 quid great on fuel getting 30s-40s round the doors and late 40s-50s on a run plenty room and they got plenty power
  11. Has to be my current dog, cracking little dog for fur and feather. Keeps me happy. I have been doing more with the pup this season than this dog until last week when I decided to take him for a nights lamping and he just reminded me why I like him so much, he catches more than he misses retrieves rabbits back to me if he misses he is straight back to me and I can lamp him without a slip on no matter how far he hunts a quick whistle and he is on his way back even if he is out of sight
  12. Couple more pics from a mooch this morning
