    Cheers for the comments . well keep an eye out on your posts brimmer. well stumpy is just missing her back leg everything seems fine, she is in top condition at the mo, got a wonderful coat at the minute the picture doesn't do it justice tho. The lad and his dad who bred her is big in to chickens and has had three legged chickens over the years . Yeah Ferretville she is strong ferret but she is not the boss at home a small ablino jill runs the show. atb dangermouse

    Following on from my last ferreting report http://www.thehuntin...-legged-ferret/. We gained a new permisson through the old lady metioned in the last post who we had given a rabbit to. Which is a blessing as most of my permissons are still flooded/ water logged quite badly . The permisson is the grounds of a large house plus a few fields. After the formalities with the landowner we decided to work down a hedgeline from the garden down to bottom of the field. The first set was about 10 holes-mixture of hedge and holly bush so out went the purse nets and i ran the 2 stop nets out. We ente

    Yeah it is an odd one. I have heard of ferrets losing part of their foot/ leg as kits chewed off by other ferrets but there seems to be nothing there. Atb dangermouse

    yeah even tho it's called stumpy it has no stump so to speak. it was just born that way as lady gaga would say. it use the back more in the middle like a robin reliant bakwards. Proper little character. cheers for taking the time to read. atb dangermouse
