    So here goes the first write up............... I was out out the start of the week helping a friend out with problem rabbits on in his old mans horse paddocks. all i need to fetch was the disco carrot, some collars and the long nets/ stop nets. left my stinkers back at base camp as the lad i was out with got 4 ferrets 2 sandys jills (3 year olds) , one polecat jill ( this years) and stumpy maximuss a albino jill with only 3 legs. she was born this year and from the very start buy all acounts she has been the boss of the kits first on the food and last one to stop playfighting.     Thanks for take the time to post ppl some really nice dogs in the pics, gotta to say the acd cross has got to be one of the smartest looking dogs. Lifes to short not to have one at your side shinning a lamp into the darkness . Are they similar maturing as a colie cross? Cheers

    whos' the daddy when it comes to lamps and batteries? I have been looking at the tracer 170 variable power and lithum 12v 22ah with a red filter brand new the lot 4 £315. is this a lamp you would recomand ie good wiring build quality etc. it's main use will be with rifle or lamping with dog cheers

    really intrested in getting a ACD cross next year, does anyone on here have any experince of them. if so how do you rate them? would you recomand them say over a collie cross? the main working task for the dog would be ferreting and lamping in around cheshire/shropshire countryside. what mixs would you recomand fist cross etc. Any pics would be a bonus. cheers

    Cheers for the advice as i said before new to the lurcher world so any suggestions on training books /dvd would be a great help, yeah the pup won't be running tlll it's ready to 2 don't want to do any damage to it. cheers

    A mate of mine has just got a new lurcher pup. just looking for advice on the best books or dvds for training the pup up. i have heard Purdy's progress is a good dvd to have, anyone got a copy for sale? cheers .
