    Filas ?

Fila brasilero ? Horrible fugly looking ,like cross between a bloodhound and overweight mastiff. That's basically what they are, bred from bloodhounds, bulldogs and mastiffs brought over by the colonialists to guard their plantations and track escaped slaves.
  3. Thought this was going to be another one of your country life threads

    Filas ?

Honestly with the way the laws have changed in the UK with regards to dog attacks on private property I'd think long and hard before getting a true man stopper...

    Cats

Having a cat around the house definitely doesn't stop them going after cats they come across in the field in my experience they just start to see them as part of the family. I've always had cats around my dogs at home and never had an incident but they go mad when we see cats away from the house.

    Filas ?

I've had a few dealings with Filas over the years and they were all nervy unstable fear biting curs apart from the one male that was a fila x ddb, now that dog would put the fear of god into anyone with just a look and he had the minerals to back it up too. Saying that I bet you'd get a better standard of dog in its country of origin...
  7. I wonder, did all the UKIP supporters moaning about representation vote yes in the AV referendum?
  8. As said walshie we didn't win many seats but to poll 12% cant be looked at as defeat ..how many votes did Ball up loose his seat by ? about400 , I wonder how many of them were UKIP votes .all of them & more ..+ if it wasn't for UKIP do you think the Tory party would have pledged a vote on the EU , not in a million years . If your leader fails to win his seat and you come out of the election with less seats than you started with I think you can safely say that was a defeat
  9. what exactly did he promise on the hunting ban,,hes no excuse now. Promised a free vote in the HoC on a full repeal of the hunting ban if he got a majority
  10. ragumup will be along soon to tell us that the result is just more lefty BBC bias
  11. Yougov did their last poll yesterday I think? The only poll that matters now is the exit poll and its usually pretty spot on. But this election has been such a tight run race and with the rise of ukip and the snp the exit poll could be less reliable than in previous elections
  12. Exit poll is usually spot on, I wouldn't be holding out hope for ukip doing better. The thing to watch is whether Farage wins his seat or not, that really will be the death knell for the party.
  13. Oh dear not looking good for ukip Or is the exit poll somehow biased too?
  14. Didn't realise Farage was standing in Newcastle.... Remember lads you're voting for your local MP not the leader of the party
  15. Variety is the key when feeding flesh and bone, plenty of organ meat and bits with a lot of connective tissue along with the more meaty and fatty cuts. If you keep their diet varied there's no need for any supplements or mixers.
  16. Walshie's country adventures are the best thing on here right now
  17. Too right, I think we'll look back at this election in years to come as the point when the two party system started to die. Whatever your poltical allegiances get out and vote today, eh? The systems shit but if the working men don't take part in it we leave our fate up to those who do and trust me they don't have our interests at heart. Take 5 minutes out of your day to exercise your right to vote, if only in respect for those that fought and died so you can put that little X in whichever box you want.

  19. If they're looking good on a lb of meat+bone each no need to change it. If I remember right your terriers are still young and growing? A very active young terrier can easily burn enough calories to need a lb of feed a day. Keep cracking on as you are and just keep a keen eye on your dogs condition
  20. You see the same thing in Bandog breeding, if you don't add pure mastiff every few generations the size starts leveling out and you end up with dogs not much bigger than a big bulldog.
  21. Class thread Top banter lads you've had me rolling here
  22. My old man always used linseed oil on his boots, rub it in deep with a soft cloth once a week especially in cold weather.
