  1. When you say Reece do you mean from South Yorkshire?
  2. Take it your username is after another Limey dog Gnasher??
  3. I think what Gnash was referring to is the match between Max and Smokey, apparently Smokey could have and should have won by foul as Max was knocked when it was his turn to scratch. The Limeys being good sports let it carry on because the handler was a newbie, no doubt though the better dog won as Max was over 10lb his best weight.
  4. If Brits were indeed ahead in terms of blood why would you say there hasnt been a pure family bred dog over here for many years ?.....id be very surprised if there is a dog alive today in England with a true pedigree let alone a good pedigree......Like anything else quality speaks for itself when somethings good people preserve it as has been done with several lines.......it doesnt say a lot for British dogmen if there is virtually nothing left of great dogs from only 25/30 years ago which is a blink in historical terms. As regards the big yards i agree......what was we saying about Ed Reid aga
  5. In terms of certain individual dogs i wouldnt argue......in terms of blood i would say we was way behind the Dutch.......which i think has been proven over time. His most prolific dog Skipper was down from Stubblefields Buddy, the first Sporting Dog Journal's Grand Champion. They came down from a unique and fairly rare bloodline tbh but there performance was without doubt. Max beat an imported Limey dog that had beat a champion over the pond, the dogs were the real deal. Are you talking about the dog they called "the Dentist " ? Yep that's the one, I believe Max was pig fat for that match yet st

  7. Not sure id call it a fact...its certainly a bold statement and an opinion id respect but not agree with personally. At the time they were as good as any in Europe, we definitely had dogs as good as the likes of Holland etc.....
  8. I spotted that straight away but you still can't tell 100%
  9. Well seeing as though I said what's the fastest lurcher anybody has seen I think it's pretty clear to see Greyhounds are not included.... Yes you did, but the fastest at doing what ? Shitting.... What do you think?? Haha.

  11. I thought all the content is streamed?? And running cable is not possible tbh, I've heard they're pointless if having to use wireless but someone on here says his works fine.
  12. mine works fine over wifi..and we are not in a fast broadband area...if you are having problems you can buy homeplugs (fleaby about 15 quid for 2 get the 500mb ones) plug one in at the box and other at the router...they turn your connection into a hardwired connect buy transferring data over your houses existing wiring. What model box have you got and how far is it from your router?
  13. I've heard there's no point in getting one unless you can plug it straight into your Router? Wi-Fi is a no go apparently??
  14. How the hell could you run a lamping competition?? The variables are astronomical....
  15. If the dog is the business then breed him, people are too hung up on pedigrees these days.
  16. Not strictly speaking a lurcher is it? IIRC a lurcher is a Greyhound x working dog, a Longdog is a sight hound x sighthound. Or am I wrong? If you want to get technical yes but I and others around my area call them all Lurchers.
  17. p You can't educate pork I guess.....
  18. Which relay team was that Gnash? Out of interest, I looked at the Olympic relay teams but could only find Asafa Powell who tested for the stimulant Oxilophrine. I can't find anything on the others.... I'm not trying to pull you up on it as such but if it was true it'd be a fairly heavy piece of evidence! Hence why I briefly looked. The joint second fastest man of all time Yohan Blake also tested positive for stimulant use in 2009. But have Nesta Carter and Michael Frater? No I don't think so.

  20. Those dogs are nothing but big useless shitting machines, they wouldn't know a real APBT if it bit them in the ass. I know they're carrying a lot of fat and have Mastiff in them but how the hell do they get them that big, they're in the size range of an English Mastiff, wouldn't have one given. I can bet your bottom dollar if one of those kill someone it will be labelled a Pitbull.
  21. Don't forget our very own darling Linford Christie, he used PED's throughout his career.
  22. As long as there's no massive difference in slips then don't think it matters much, the better dog should prevail either way.
  23. I wouldn't say everybody is on them, that would be very unfair to the clean athletes out there but nothing surprises me anymore, look at Lance Armstrong.
  24. Yep my 3/4 Collie cross was a fast dog in his day, never saw him outsped when doubled up on a hare. Shame he was a yapper and jacker on the stuff with teeth though ha.
