It's all bullshit, they say what they want to make people believe it. My Grandad who isn't in the best shape was treated like shit in the hospital, after getting discharged he had to sit in the waiting room for hours before my uncle could pick him up, when asked about his results the nurse said she hasn't got time to explain. The NHS is on it's arse, that is a fact!!

Well Mayweather didn't fancy the fight at all when the fights hype was at its biggest...
-
Just seeing their faces sets me off, the matter of fact posh commentary tops it off.
-
I'm howling at this video clip... http://youtu.be/4U6WpLLLVvc

Yeah but Marquez was made to move up two weights and Mayweather didn't even make weight, Marquez was soft and sluggish. IMO he definitely went on PED's not long after that defeat

I really do believe Manny will beat Floyd, Mayweather hasn't fought anyone with the punch output of Manny. 5 years ago Manny would have knocked him out, now I think he will win on points.
-
Of all the dead bodies Tyson knocked over in them early days they were 2 of the worst fights of all.......Thomas didnt throw a punch in 6 petrified rounds and Williams well that wasnt even a fight......what makes you think Tyson could of got past Holmes jab to put him down ? he couldnt get past very average jabs like Tucker/Green/Smith when he was in this " prime " what reason is there to think he could get past the greatest jab in the history of the division ?.......and if he couldnt what would his plan b of been ? he didnt have one. They weren't fights because Tyson took them apart that's why
-
For the simple reason that Tyson was made for fighters with a good jab....look at how certain fighters struggle with certain styles Tyson looked bad against mediocre fighters who could jab what would he of been like against an all time great jab ?.....The late 70,s early ,s Holmes that beat Shavers and Norton had great skills and the heart to go with it Tyson didnt have the heart Holmes had to get off the floor and come back.Tyson sat on his stool pleading with his trainer not to go out for the 8th round against Lewis thats fighting heart you either have or you dont regardless how washed up yo

Mick you didnt really need to write a list of opponents it was the worst era in heavyweight history we know that.....Tyson came along at the perfect time when the Witherspoon/Tubbs/Tate/Page era of overweight journeymen in any other era were around ....making Tyson a breath of fresh air.......yes he could only fight who was available same as any fighter can but Muhammed Ali wasnt the best heavyweight in history because of what he did against Brian London or Henry Cooper he was the best because of what he did against the greatest fighters of his era..................your list above doesnt conta

That's the thing though, we will never know if Tyson just wasn't allowed to perform by Douglas on that night. Styles make fights and he had the perfect style to beat Tyson.
-
Not true mate, infact he was heavier on the night he won the title against Berbick. Everybody blames the loss of Rooney yet forget he looked on fire against Williams in the fight prior to facing Douglas. IMO Douglas would have beat any version of Tyson with the mindset he had in Tokyo.
-
A fighter doesn't get up to a timer, Douglas took the count like a seasoned professional. He wasn't in any real trouble from that knockdown tbh.
-
i fully agree with you about holmes gnash to me he was the greatest heavyweight of all time and the best jab ever in boxing .a truely brilliant fighterTyson would beat any version of Holmes, Larry was very susceptible to the right hand. Tyson was no Earnie Shavers though and was the best finisher in the business. never in a million years would mike tyson have beaten holmes on a level playing field .holmes would have jabbed his head of .to the point he would have ridiculed him Load of rubbish, like I've said before Holmes was open for the right hand, once hurt Tyson would finish the job unlik

Tbh mate Holmes was knocked down hard on more than one occasion.
-
That fight the other day was the first really good look ive had at him mate i reckon he could take the power up with him easy enough but im not sure he would have the strength of say Froch ( thats a messy fight when you picture it )........but you,d imagine its a move he,ll have to make for the big money fights ...whats your take on it ? I wouldnt say Tyson had a great chin and it wasnt poor either.....lets face it he didnt have to take a punch for the first 40 odd fights of his career you say his defence set him apart but Douglas was pretty much the first person to hit him and he never fo

Lewis got sparked a few times yes thats heavyweight boxing for you......Tyson didnt get sparked he either quit cold or just stopped trying when he knew he couldnt win.......ones acceptable ones not.....personally i dont think the fight would of been a different outcome maybe just a few rounds longer,i think Lewis was poor in the Tyson fight and could of had him out in 3 or 4 rounds if he had forced the issue more. Tyson took his beatings as good as any fighter up until the second Holyfield fight tbh. Let's be honest, Tyson had a better chin than Lewis too. I think prime for prime Tyson would k
-
Bit unfair to say he didn't have the heart in his earlier career, he took the drubbing of a lifetime against Douglas yet got up for more, and the 2nd Ruddock fight was brutal to say the least.
-
Don't know where you got that but it's rubbish, and like Gnasher said Lewis wasn't quite ready at that point.
-
,it was the same thing with L/L fought - Tyson L/L never wanted Tyson when he was at his peak , he took him when he was near finished , Mayweather will win , prob be a lot different fight 8-10 years ago Not true pal, infact Lewis was paid off for the sum of $4million so Tyson could fight Seldon...

Big Cats fight to the death on occasions, infact lots of animals do tbh.
-
Murray can take a good lickin that's for sure, I doubt Golovkin would have had his chin stook out against Tommy Hearns though...
-
Murrays corner are idiots, what the hell are they telling him to stay on the ropes for? He's doing much better in the centre of the ring and getting off first.
-
Without wishing to sound unkind the bloke sounds like a f****n idiot !.....So he takes an exceptionally game dog to its death, remarkably gets the dog going again..............and then thinks i know lets go back and scratch him again just to make sure !!! " IF " its a true story.....animals dying and then coming back to life are not exactly every day occurences are they so i hardly think it alters the term dead game The Rebel may have been many things but he knew his shit about the dogs that's for sure. Ricky spent a lot of time and money rolling testing and matching his dogs, and anyone
-
And some might say Pat Patrick, was also one of the all time biggest dog peddlers and sold more than anyone else ever in the game.Yep he was but that don't change the facts he bred top class dogs. Yes I know what your saying but if you breed that many and some go to the right people then surely you going to get some good uns. I wonder how many good dogs came off his yard in comparison to how many pups he sold.... The same can be said for ROM Stud dogs, breed the dog enough times and your bound to strike gold on occasions.
