    it might be a collie cross ive seen dogs with collie in them not run a rabbit on a hedge and stand there looking because he thinks he hasnt got a chance was thinking the same pip northernlite me mates dog would do this and it used to piss him off i think they just get to clever for there own good after running a few along an hedge

    redcur do you want a bitch its already working great daytime bushing and had a few rabbits on the lamp its stock broken but just doesnt suit my mate for what he wants but you would have to collect the offer stands.this is a great little bitch at 14mth old.first night on the lamp it had 3 rabbits and last week with me another 4.if anyones interested pm it will make a very good rabbiting dog

    i shoot steel bb all the time and dropped plenty with them ie squirrels pigeon ducks pheasant and rabbit all with steel or marbles so dont really need that extra weight

    them days are well and truely gone now,remember when every kid would turn out just to have a knock about in the street or when conker season was in and everyone would a better concker than than you,some cheating going on like last years conker that was like a piece of granite or collecting birds eggs i still go looking for them in breeding season and what i learned as a kid ive found that the eggs i couldnt find then, im finding now with ease

    a mate i hunt with has 6 dogs 5 lurchers and a terrier..when we go out lamping i only allow him to bring 1 lurcher as im not driving for miles so he can run a few of his dogs when i want my own dog to have plenty of runs.so if you aint got the work for them i would stick with what you have
