  5. well the day started with a quick plink about 9am up the side of wood out the back of my girlfriends, it was to just fine tune the scop as i just swapped it back over and it had been so long id forgotten the mill dots. with that sorted i could make my way over to one my permissions. i went and got the bike out as the scooters given up on me and set off down the road and in to her neighbores farm (my bestmate's from school) and over the feild. pushing the bike through the field in quite abit of snow with all my gear on my back wasnt very fun but i was soon walking past his house and cycling up
  6. Same rifle as i owned for over 2 years Lewis. You wont be disappointed. Mine was a Simon Tench tuned BSA R10 .22 with Ultra barrel. Well it's in a shop second hand but need the seals doing before it leaves but it's at a nice price. I haven't been in lately so it might of gone? Plus I have more important things to spend money at the moment like a couple of grand insurance for a car so it's a maybe...
  7. I'm a queer case to. Right handed writing, darts, stronger arm but play pool left handed and shoot left handed then left footed aswel but the rifles iv had/used are BSA supersport (fine cause only little break barrel) logun s16 (alright because it was my first pcp) hw97k simple sporter stock so easy to use then bsa ultra simple again because of ambi stock but I have looked at BSA r10 left handed but very expensive, AA s410k super light with ambi stock, then the hw100kt because it would be light enough to cock with right hand keeping it up with left arm on grip I know you can get bsa b
  8. What sort of groupings do you get from it bud? Looks a nice bit of kit plus what scope you got on top of it? Atb lewis
  9. I have an old hawke endurance 3-10x44 map 8 and a hawke nite eye 3-12x50 ao ir and the nite eye is in its box at the moment. The simplicity of x6 at 30m then 8x after that without having to worry about the ao plus the scopes abit smaller and I found the guns more accurate with the endurance
  10. anytime mate!!! Darryl Top man well iv got my driving test in the next month hopefully so once I'm up and running with that I wouldn't mind even a Sunday at the range where you go or something
  11. Darryl if you ever need a hand using all these guns your buying I'd be happy to help being one of the closer THL members Atb bud!
  12. Seems like your sorted for perms then. My grandad has and horse racing farm in bolam so I can go up there and my girlfriend has a farm but I don't drive yet so restricted and only 17 still so through the summer but I should also have a new rifle hopefully a r10 with ultra barrel iv got my eyes on just got to wait for this apprentership to kick in
  13. I'm 18 this year and left in reception/ year1, il be driving soon so will be going round those areas asking from permission as iv ferreted up there afew times. Do you shoot on much permission or just at the gun club?
  14. Ahhhh that's where was born and went to Oakley cross primary when I was younger, I'm from yarm/Darlington and have family in bolam
  15. just seen your from durham j and c where abouts in durham arre you from? lewis
  16. There's one in the for sale section pretty cheap
  17. Bob dunkleys will do it for you in middlesbrough but might take abit of time they arnt the fastest gun shop, where you from?
  18. Take advantage of extremely wets periods as the chances are the course is closed to the members but you might still be allowed on during the day
  19. How does the scope with the AO compare to the one without? I don't like the front AO turntable thing on my hawke night eye ir ao and prefer my old hawke endurance with any fancy things on it. Plus why get the larger 50mm compared to the 40mm I also prefer the 44mm lense to the 50mm lense of the nite eye? Thanks
  20. if you want a brand new rifle than your looking at the hw99 the best your going to get but i picked up my hw97k with a scope for £145. iv seen plenty of hw80s,95s,35,97 and 77 for under £200 so keep looking about. your not going to get the prettiest looking rifle or a next to new one but you will get a quality rifle
  21. to be honest none of them rifles are going to be capable of ranges more than 30 yards so caliber is and issue so id get .22 but if you look second hand you will get a quality weirauch for that amount or airarms tx200 at a push. go second hand and buy a quality springer with scope for under 200
