    my friend bought me back yesterday a trug of crayfish off the river bain in lincolnshire , he said he caught them with un-cured bacon..? look for stenigot mast ,near there.. he said its crawling with them. boil em for 3 mins ,not much meat on them...

    recomended . ! bought 200 yards last year , its good quality with a good selvedged edge to it, i got 3 , 25 yard long nets a a few stop nets from it , all with 100% kill or bag , better than the bisley shit..!

    gibbo iam definetly after a deer/grey . that dh/gh x collie/grey looks a stunner..!! there must of been a few of these about mid ,s when "dare i say it", the deerhound x greyhound became unfashionable and it became the decade/fashion , of the collie/grey , ive heard good things about this cross off a few people

    thanks for all comments , pm,s etc definetly gave me food for thought..!! distance wouldnt be a problem for the right dog, i suppose you pays your money and you take your choice ,iam a strong beliver in" you cant polish a turd " !! the breeding has to be in there ,iam gonna pm a few lads off here that have their dogs . i know doxhope /platts were the ones to get from in the ,s 90,s ,but some lines strains can become a bit stale or over-hyped , iam getting the wife one anyway problem is she wants it to look nice and iam , hunting around for working capabilities .! never been a rossette hunter

    after a long time thinking about it have decided to get a deerhound x grey, had one in the ,S was a brilliant bitch ,showed my wife the photos and finally persuaded/talked her into it . she had her dog poisoned last year which done our heads in as all the training, etc ,it broke her heart.. were moving to ireland wheres there no ban so we have decided on a dhxgh hybrid , since the ban ive only had rabbiting dogs . heard good things about both breeders , had some good feedback from a bloke on here and actually had a good long chat with david platts ,which was good have yet to bell cooklands . w

    clonakilty, skibb ,bandon area we like ,ive salmon fished in denmark for salmon when i was younger with 20lb line and was snapped off the bloke in the next peg caught one and i couldnt belive the colour when they return to migrate look like like a tench..? dark green slimey..using eggs as hook bait , tried bass fishing off harbour walls in brighton a few times with peeler crabs never caught..been boat fishing a few times only for mackerel hand-lining,caught a few bins full when into a scholl of em, done alot of course fishing in my 20,s only like catching what i can eat, loved piking on the fe

    moving to west cork area in a few months would like to know what sort of crosses /hybrids are suited to that area ,or sort of terrain .my wife had her dog poisoned at the end of last year and we are considering buying another lurcher to take with us . she really has her heart set on a david platts deerhound/greyhound . phoned him the other day and he was on about a 9th generation first cross litter thats due soon..? would this type of line breeding be any better than a first cross or 3/4 bred. or 3/8 5/8..? we have a couple of rabbiting dogs and with there being no ban over there would like s

    does anyone know of any breeders of 1st and second cross deerhound x greyhound lurchers , been looking around for a while but litters of these seem to be a bit thin on the ground.? suppose there out of ,for want of a better word fashion..? could please someone point me in the direction of a breeder of this cross or any further litters availiable cheers

    advanced netting they dont put it on website they have it in red or green think they only have 6z at mo ,ive just got 200 yards well worth it at that price
