    Never fished witha pole mate, like to have a bit more control with carp, or so i think, look's like you had a good day, and the trophy is a cracker mate, good idea. Have'nt been out for carp this year only stopped pike fishing in the middle of march, nothing decent to report, will have to wait till october now for a decent pike. I will have to dust the carp gear down this weekend and try and have a day out, good luck mate.

    I have heard of carp taking deadbait's but never had it happen to me, do they take both set's of treble's or do they get caught on the bottom treble, also what bait was it on, must be sprat or something small, can't see a carp taking half a mackeral, i have also heard of pike taking boilie's and not alway's fishmeal, might try a double 32ml boilie next time i am pikeing.

    Friend's of mine have been recieving e.mail's supposedly of me but when they open them the computer start's playing up, so tell people you have sent e.mail's to in the past, not to open any, just delete them, cheer's.
