    the first thing to do is to teach him some manners. let him run loose and feck knows what he will nail. you need to make sure that he wont take hold of livestock. (this includes chickens :laugh: ) maybe a long lead would be a good start . and be carefull he dont run down holes. if he has no locator on. learn what holes to steer clear of once you have some control over him then get him at some rats. good luck cmon to fook cleanspade, if the dog aint trained noo after 6years do ye think he is gonna do way the use of a long lead
